About the company

Caring Hearts Respite is a unique service that combines multiple services in 1 role.I combine Caring/Nursing with Respite, Personal Care, Shopping, Appointment attendance, Social outings, General Cleaning/tidying, Companionship.I have a background of 20 years in the Health Industry working as a Personal Carer in people's homes for aged and disability care, in an Aged care facility for 5 yrs,most recently 8 years in General Practice as an Enrolled Nurse providing care for all ages including wound care, immunisations, womens health.In this time i have realised the importance of people living in their own homes, and staying there as long as possible!Do you need a break from your caring role? This may just be an afternoon with your friends to catch up, or to attend a group or appointment even,would you like a regular afternoon off?I am able to provide Palliative care guided by you and your gp. This may consist of bed bathing, clothing change and feeding assistance. I am able to liase with your gp if required when providing care.Please contact me, Vanessa, to discuss your needs.
