I love music and I love children! Music can be a very powerful teaching tool, for academics and the lessons of life for all ages. In Let's Play Music we teach music with music! Music is one of the best ways to learn something. When you teach concepts through music, children will internalize and remember it. In this program, your children will experience some complex musical theory concepts, that they will learn in a fun and magical way! Their brilliant little minds will soak everything up and they will be on the path to becoming a complete musician. They will have a greater understanding of what music is and what they can do with this talent and gift they are developing. Not only will your child be learning, but you will be learning right along side them. This experience will be a delight for both you and your child!

Teaching is Emy's calling in life. She has a gift for making difficult concepts simple, and she delights in teaching lessons that keep students engaged and excited to learn. Her patience, warmth, and genuine care help her build meaningful connections with her students—whether in person or online. Many online students say that meeting with her as their Teacher Guide is the highlight of their lessons.Emy is a certified Let’s Play Music instructor who has taught this wonderful beginning piano curriculum for 14 years. She is also certified to teach Sound Beginnings, a playful and engaging parent–child class for children ages 4 and under. For the past year and a half, Emy has been a Teacher Guide for online Let’s Play Music, supporting students from all over the country. She loves seeing children succeed and finds great joy in helping each one discover the magic of music.Emy began playing the piano at age eight. She has also enjoyed directing and accompanying her local church children and adult choirs for several years. Outside of music, Emy holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Brigham Young University.

In 2007 I earned a bachelor's degree in music education from the University of North Texas. During my time in school, I focused my studies on piano, voice, and early childhood music. For the past 20+ years, I have been fortunate enough to make music teaching a career as I have had the opportunity to teach students of all ages in private, educational, religious, and public settings. In my search for a comprehensive and engaging method for early music learning, I found Let's Play Music and the rest is history! I have been a certified Let's Play Music and Sound Beginnings teacher since 2013. Let's Play Music is truly the most magical way for children to immerse themselves in music learning and I can't wait to go on this journey with you! I have loved connecting with online music students across the nation and hope to share my passion for music, inspire creativity, and make a positive difference in all of my student's lives.

My name is Anna, and I have been teaching Let’s Play Music and Sound Beginnings classes for over 5 years. I have been in a teaching role for much of my life, and love coming alongside students and their families in the learning process.I grew up in WI in a very musical family, and started playing the oboe when I was 9 years old. Music quickly became a deep passion, and I eventually earned a BA in Music Education from the University of Wisconsin.A friend from college introduced me to Let's Play Music, and I love being a part of such an amazing organization that is focused on creating complete musicians. All three of my own kids have graduated from Let's Play Music, or are currently enrolled in a class. I have often been surprised with all that they have learned in the program! It is incredible to watch young children discover a love for music as both a parent and an educator. My husband, Craig, and I have 3 children. We are currently homeschooling our kids, and love diving into learning together as a family.When I’m not teaching music or homeschooling my kids, you can find me playing my oboe in local ensembles, discovering new recipes, baking bread, spending time with family and friends, and looking for new adventures to take with Craig and our kids. I am so excited to be a Guide for online Let’s Play Music students, and look forward to partnering with your family as we discover music together!

Marianne studied human development and music at Brigham Young University, graduating with her Bachelor's in 2002. She has been teaching music to young children for many years, including over fifteen years at Let's Play Music, teaching each of the curricula offered. Most recently she has been working with online students, and enjoys the one-on-one connection this platform offers. Marianne's first two loves are children and music, and she loves the playful, joyful interactions and the well-rounded approach that Let's Play Music offers. Marianne’s energetic teaching style makes for fun-filled classes and music-loving kids!

I am so excited to be an online guide for Let's Play Music students! I love the fun and creativity that are foundational to the Let's Play Music Program. I have graduated 3 of my own children from the program, have 2 currently enrolled, and one who will start very soon! Let's Play Music has been a blessing to my family and can't wait to share it with your family!I currently live in small rural town in North Central Idaho, called Grangeville, with my husband and six children. I started teaching Sound Beginnings (2016) and Let's Play Music (2018) in Albuquerque, New Mexico prior to moving to Idaho and I am currently teaching classes here in our tiny town. When I am not teaching, you'll find me homeschooling, dancing, or directing children's theater productions. I hold a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and have previously taught public school and English language online to children.

I have taught Let's Play Music since 2010 and have seen the tremendous positive influence it has on students, families, and the community. Learning through Let's Play Music is accessible, child centered, and so much fun!
