Renter agrees to hold MWCC, its agents, and employees harmless from any claim for loss or damage to any of Renter’s property or property contracted by the Renter5. Renter assumes full responsibility and liability associated with any alcohol consumed on the premises. Due to licensing requirements, no sales of alcoholic beverages are permitted.6. Renter shall not be entitled to use any facilities of MWCC outside the clubhouse area without the express written consent of MWCC.7. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein contained, it is understood and agreed that Renter assumes any and all liability that might arise due to Renter’s occupancy and use of the premises, and Renter agrees to indemnify and hold MWCC and its agents harmless and free from any such liability.8. Renter is advised that trash left in the parking lot may result in additional charges.Rental Rules1. Key to the front door of the clubhouse will be given to Renter on the morning of or evening prior to the rental date. Please safeguard the key as Renter will be liable for the cost of changing the locks if lost. The key is to be returned as instructed by the Clubhouse Manager.2. All food, decorations, etc. brought into the clubhouse and not taken home are to be bagged, tied, and deposited in large trash bins located by the lap pool near Kirkwood. Bags are to be supplied by Renter. Please pick up trash in the parking lot and front grassy area.3. All doors are to be locked at the end of an event. This includes lowering the stem latches if double doors have been opened. Inside light is to be turned off and outside front door lights are to be turned on.4. Decorations may be affixed to the walls with blue painter’s tape only - no tacks, staples or scotch tape. Wall hanging above fireplace cannot be removed. Nothing is to be affixed or hung from ceiling area.5. Pool and playground area are off limits to Renters due to safety / liability issues. Please inform guests of these restrictions.6. Food and alcoholic beverages are allowed in club during events, with legal drinking age of guests to be followed.7. Please be advised that outdoor functions of the club, e.g. swimming, swim meets, and tennis, may be taking place during the rental period making exclusive use of parking area not always possible.8. Please unload / load supplies and/or equipment from the parking lot area as driving on grassy areas is not permitted. A cart is available in the clubhouse for this purpose.9. Wedding receptions must use only birdseed outside should the bride and groom be showered.10.Music for events is permissible with volume at a reasonable level. Music heard outside the clubhouse will disturb the surrounding residential neighborhoods. Harris County Law enforcement officers have the authority to write noise citations if warranted.11. Free standing candles are not permitted per Harris County Fire Department.12. Fireplace is not to be used in accordance with above Fire Department codes.13. No pets, on or off a leash, are allowed in clubhouse or club grounds.14. Guns or firearms are not permitted on club property15.  Security provided by a licensed police officer if the event continues after 12:00 midnight is a regulation. These services and charges are to be negotiated with law enforcement officers whose phone numbers can be obtained from the Clubhouse Manager. Expanding the clubhouse use hours from 12:00 midnight to 2:00 a.m. does not increase the rental fee, as security charges are separate and paid directly to attending officers. If you don’t schedule licensed officers and your party goes beyond 12:00 midnight the police are authorized to shut down your party or event.16.   Additional charges will be due should above rules be violated, additional clean-up needed, and/or any damage occur to property during rental period17. If the police are called out more than twice due to loud noise they have the authority and approval of MWCC to shut down the party or event.18.  No smoking is allowed inside the clubhouse and must occur a minimum of 20 feet away from any entrance to the clubhouse19.  Parking is allowed for 30 cars in front of the clubhouse.  Do not park in the center of the lot.  Overflow parking is available on Taylorcrest Road.  Do not park in front of driveways or in the shopping center across the street.   Furniture Rental Rules:1. Ordinary Cleaning: As used herein “Ordinary Cleaning” includes wiping down the Furniture with sanitizer spray and cleaning clothes.4. Rules Concerning Use:a. Renter shall be responsible for retrieving the Furniture from the storage area inside the clubhouse and setting up and placing the Furniture inside the clubhouse in the configuration Renter desires.b. Upon conclusion of Renter’s event, renter must leave the furniture out on the club house floor in an organized fashion such that it can be easily accessed by staff contracted by MWCC who will inspect and clean the Furniture and return it to the storage space.c. NOTE: Failure to leave the furniture out on the club house floor where it can be easily accessed and inspected may result in an additional fees that will be charged to Renter.d. Furniture must be used only for its intended use as a table and chairs and Renter shall be responsible for any costs associated with breakage or other damage or need for cleaning beyond the Ordinary Cleaning included in this rental fee which arises from use, abuse or negligence on the part of Renter. Furniture must be returned as functional and in as good condition as it was when it was provided to Renter, ordinary wear and tear excepted and subject to the need for Ordinary Cleaning. 5. Furniture Rental: If selected in the “Add-on”, Renter shall have the use of the tables and chairs (“Furniture”) located in the Club House for the duration of Renter’s Function under the Rental Agreement subject to the terms and conditions stated herein.2. Fee for Use: In exchange for use of the Furniture pursuant to this Addendum, Renter shall pay MWCC An additional rental fee as noted in the booked “Add-On” section, which includes fees for inspection, Ordinary Cleaning (as hereinafter defined) of the furniture as well as returning the Furniture to storage.3. Ordinary Cleaning: As used herein “Ordinary Cleaning” includes wiping down the Furniture with sanitizer spray and cleaning clothes.4. Rules Concerning Use:a. Renter shall be responsible for retrieving the Furniture from the storage area inside the clubhouse and setting up and placing the Furniture inside the clubhouse in the configuration Renter desires.b. Upon conclusion of Renter’s event, renter must leave the furniture out on the club house floor in an organized fashion such that it can be easily accessed by staff contracted by MWCC who will inspect and clean the Furniture and return it to the storage space.c. NOTE: Failure to leave the furniture out on the club house floor where it can be easily accessed and inspected may result in an additional fees that will be charged to Renter.d. Furniture must be used only for its intended use as a table and chairs and Renter shall be responsible for any costs associated with breakage or other damage or need for cleaning beyond the Ordinary Cleaning included in this rental fee which arises from use, abuse or negligence on the part of Renter. Furniture must be returned as functional and in as good condition as it was when it was provided to Renter, ordinary wear and tear excepted and subject to the need for Ordinary Cleaning.5. Renter agrees to hold MWCC, its agents, and employees harmless from any claim for loss or damage to any of Renter’s property or property contracted by the Renter5. Renter assumes full responsibility and liability associated with any alcohol consumed on the premises. Due to licensing requirements, no sales of alcoholic beverages are permitted.6. Renter shall not be entitled to use any facilities of MWCC outside the clubhouse area without the express written consent of MWCC.7. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein contained, it is understood and agreed that Renter assumes any and all liability that might arise due to Renter’s occupancy and use of the premises, and Renter agrees to indemnify and hold MWCC and its agents harmless and free from any such liability.8. Renter is advised that trash left in the parking lot may result in additional charges.Rental Rules1. Key to the front door of the clubhouse will be given to Renter on the morning of or evening prior to the rental date. Please safeguard the key as Renter will be liable for the cost of changing the locks if lost. The key is to be returned as instructed by the Clubhouse Manager.2. All food, decorations, etc. brought into the clubhouse and not taken home are to be bagged, tied, and deposited in large trash bins located by the lap pool near Kirkwood. Bags are to be supplied by Renter. Please pick up trash in the parking lot and front grassy area.3. All doors are to be locked at the end of an event. This includes lowering the stem latches if double doors have been opened. Inside light is to be turned off and outside front door lights are to be turned on.4. Decorations may be affixed to the walls with blue painter’s tape only - no tacks, staples or scotch tape. Wall hanging above fireplace cannot be removed. Nothing is to be affixed or hung from ceiling area.5. Pool and playground area are off limits to Renters due to safety / liability issues. Please inform guests of these restrictions.6. Food and alcoholic beverages are allowed in club during events, with legal drinking age of guests to be followed.7. Please be advised that outdoor functions of the club, e.g. swimming, swim meets, and tennis, may be taking place during the rental period making exclusive use of parking area not always possible.8. Please unload / load supplies and/or equipment from the parking lot area as driving on grassy areas is not permitted. A cart is available in the clubhouse for this purpose.9. Wedding receptions must use only birdseed outside should the bride and groom be showered.10.Music for events is permissible with volume at a reasonable level. Music heard outside the clubhouse will disturb the surrounding residential neighborhoods.
