She supports parents in negotiations in IDEA mediation. Marilyn shares her 20+years' experiences how parents were successful taking control over school disputes. Special Education Parent's Advocacy Link LLC dba The IEP Center supports parents with IEP, 504, suspension, school meetings and civil rights of students with disabilities. We support parents in KS, MO, OK and other states*. Specialize in military parent support. **Advocates are not attorneys and do not give legal advice. Consult an attorney. We do not represent parents or children. Advocate has special knowledge and training regarding the problems of children with disabilities. Services must be prepaid. Consults must be set at least a day in advance. Payments for advocate to attend meeting in person/online requires prepayment at least 72 hours in advance. SEPAL cannot/does not guarantee the outcome of any school meeting nor can SEPAL guarantee that issues will be resolved at any level.Documents sent to us will be opened initially during the scheduled consult with the client.Chargebacks and stop payment incur a $75 research service fee each in addition to any fees and monies due, and the reasonable value of the time our staff and owners spent on the matter as determined in our discretion in good faith; if not paid the debt will be listed on at least one of three credit bureaus. Suspected fraud will be reported to law enforcement. Incoming fax fee is ten cents per page. Any refunds or adjustments through Paypal incur a $8 processing fee per transaction. Any statement or invoice or response by us to a request for a breakdown of how time was spent generated by our office incurs a $30 processing fee each; and may take up to three weeks. No refunds when client cancels on-site advocate meeting within 72 hours of the scheduled meeting. Allow additional processing time when using paypal; paypal e-checks need five days to process. Stripe is our preferred payment processor. Refund policy: no refunds. Sorry; no check. Money orders welcome. Mailing address provided upon request when mailing money orders. I indemnify and hold harmless SEPAL, LLC, dba The IEP Center™ from all claims, losses, lawsuits related to and/or resulting from SEPAL work. SEPAL services are discontinued when service is not prepaid. Documents and data received from you will be deleted and destroyed 60 days from receipt. Unused time is forfeited after 30 days from purchase. Use of this websites constitutes agreement with the above. An advocate-client privilege does not exist, and that the Advocate must comply with any court or hearing officer or administrative law judge orders, and may be required to comply with lawfully-issued subpoenas.
