USO Fort Hood is a non profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to support America's Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve of the five armed forces.  USO Fort Hood opened its doors in 2001 in a little office in the Rivers Building. Since then, we have been serving Fort Hood military community through programs such as this one.  USO Fort Hood is very excited to welcome back our friends from the HIP (Houston Inner Loop Photography) Club.  If you are wanting to update your Family Portrait for Christmas Gifts or wanting to update your professional portrait this year, reserve your spot.   What you will receive:a 15 minute photo session to capture precious moments of your family.  a USB data stick with (1) retouched portrait (Photographer's choice) within 24-48 hours.photographer's authorization for you to take to the nearest photo lab for reprints.a chance to say thank you to our Photographer Team by signing the USO Thank you banner located in the waiting room.PLEASE READ THIS:Please make reservations just for you.  If you have friends who fulfill the requirements, send them the link.  Any duplicates will be deleted.  Make your selection carefully.This event is open to all Active Duty, National Guard/Reserve service members and their families.  Be sure to have your military ID at check in.  With out it, you will be turned away. :(USO Fort Hood strengthen's America's Military service members by keeping them connected to family, home and country throughout their service to the nation.  FAQ:Why didn't I get all the photo that our photographer took? If your photographer took a lot of photos that was because someone in the photo was not looking at the camera.  What took place after your session is where the magic begins.  All of the photos were taken down the hall to the computer lab where the team of  photographers spent time on each photo retouching, and recoloring your portrait.  What you received on your CD was the best poses retouched portrait.  After everyone was gone, the computer lab stayed an extra two hours completing the last few appointments.  Can I get the extra shots that were taken? The Photographers put out quality work.  If there were portraits taken that did not meet the standards of the team, it will not be included on the USB data stick.  What was the value of this photo session with CD?  over 350.00Will this happen again? Hopefully, it will.My appointment was on Sunday, when can i pick up my USB Drive? All USB Drives that were not picked up will be available for pick up on Monday during our business hours - 0900 - 1700 (5PM).  Please go to Building 44  50th Street to pick your USB Drive up.Can I include my family pet in our portrait?  Yes, we love our pets.  However, Fort Hood Pet policy MUST be followed.  Owners are responsible to keep your pet(s) under direct supervision at all times.  According to Fort Hood policy, all pets much be kept on a leash.  Keep in mind that small children might be afraid of animals.My husband is deployed, can we still have our family portrait done?  ABSOLUTELY!  Reserve your time.My service member is transitioning from the service, can we do both? Family Portrait AND Business Portrait for him?  Yes.  Just book an appointment under both services.Is there a charge for this?  This is provided to our Military Community at no cost to the Service member and/or their dependents.  We may ask you to sign a thank you banner for each photographer while you are waiting.  Just to say thanks!I am having difficulty in making an appointment.  What can i do?  We are sorry you are having difficutly with making an appointment.  There are many reasons this could be happening.  Sometimes the internet service is the culprit, or the simplybookme platform is needing maintenance.  Sometimes, when the traffic is heavy, the site will shut down.  Keep trying.  There are plenty of slots to fill.Please direct any inquiries to:  usoforthood@uso.org
