St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office Fingerprint Scheduling Portal We are currently scheduling appointments by appointment ONLY. All fees must be paid using cash in EXACT change or a money order made out to the "St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office. You must provide an email address and phone number. If you need immediate assistance and can not wait for an appointment, please go to the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services website located at http:www.dpscs.state.md.us for a complete list of all fingerprint providers in the State of Maryland.If you need additional information not provided, or do not have access to the internet and need to schedule and appointment, please give us a call at 301-475-4200 ext. 8046.IMPORTANT:Please arrive for your appointment on time. Appointments are provided a 15 minute grace period prior to being cancelled and filled with another client.Please bring the following items with you for your appointment:-a government issued photo ID (ie. Driver's License, Government Issued Identification Card or Passport)-the completed LiveScan Pre-Registration Application, if needed-form of payment (ie. cash in exact change, money order, voucher, NO debit/credit cards are accepted)LiveScan:For those needing LiveScan:Please complete, print, and bring with you the LiveScan Pre-Registration Application (link below) -or- bring with you the completed Pre-Registration Application provided by your employer. You MUST provide the fingerprint technician the correct Authorization Number and ORI Number for your request. If you do not know the Authorization number and ORI number, please contact the person or agency requesting your fingerprints, as they will be able to provide it for you. If you do not have a completed form to include the Authorization Number and ORI Number at the time of your appointment, we will be unable to process your fingerprint request and you will need to reschedule your appointment.The LiveScan Pre-Registration Application can be found at https://www.firstsheriff.com/docs/LiveScanPre-RegistrationApp.pdf Ink:For those needing Ink Fingerprints:Please provide the proper ink cards (ie. FD-258). You MUST use the cards they provide you, if they provided them. You may complete the top portion with all of your information EXCEPT the portion that requires a signature. We are required to verify identity prior to the document being signed. If they did not provide you FD-258 cards, we can provide them at no additional cost, but know that they will not be accepted if they provided you their own.
