Join Ofer Vardi, author of the bestselling book Going Paprikash: The Best of Hungarian Jewish Cuisine, in discovering Budapest’s secret eateries. Főzelék, Paprikás and Gombóc are just a few of the delicious dishes that we will sample on the tour, which includes more than 15 traditional Hungarian foods and beverages.We offer a morning tour (in the 6th and 7th districts), and an afternoon tour (in the 13th district). Each of these tours is about 4 hours long and can accommodate up to 8 participants. The cost of the tour, all inclusive: 120 Euros per person. Children under 3 are free. To sign up for a tour, click on the “Book Now” button above. Choose the tour you want and the date that works for you, and fill out the registration form. A few hours after you complete the payment process, you will receive an email with all the details. Come hungry!All tours are on foot, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a bottle of water. (There will be opportunities to purchase bottled water during the tour.)Please note that the establishments we will visit are not certified kosher or halal and are not vegetarian- or vegan-friendly, and most do not offer gluten-free options. Cancellations at least 48 hours before the scheduled tour will be fully refunded.
