Sunday, September 27th, Dickey's Competitive Training (DCT) will host a benefit, Bootcamp Against Cancer (B.A.C) to support the fight against Cancer. This Bootcamp will be in remembrance of Greg Elkins who passed of Brain Cancer on July 10th, 2020 and Leann Elkins who passed of Breast Cancer on August 6th, 2020. In 2020, there will be over 600,000 deaths due to Cancer and over 1.8 million new cases diagnosed. Many of us have been personally impacted by Cancer. This Bootcamp is also for the survivors who have battled and overcame their Cancer journey, which includes Valery Carter & Laura Hensley. Every Sunday Dave Dickey, owner of DCT, hosts two sessions of Butts & Bands Bootcamp at Westside Highschool, 8am and 9am. Each session is COVID conscience practicing safe social distancing. Both sessions have a cadre of personal trainers and exercise science professionals to provide assistance and ensure proper body mechanics and safety. Participants of all abilities and fitness levels are welcome. Join us for DCT's Bootcamp Against Cancer and register today. Each session is only $10. A limited number of T-shirts will be available for purchase for $20. Additional donation is encouraged but not required. Bootcamp proceeds and additional donations will be sent to Ivy Brain Tumor Center where 100% of donations go to research and helping patients and families battling cancer.
