Sobre a empresa
North Falls and Five Estuaries are proposed neighbouring offshore wind farms off the coast of East Anglia making landfall in Tendring, Essex. While the projects don’t anticipate beginning phased construction until 2027, they’re keen to begin early engagement with potential suppliers. If you work in the offshore wind sector and would like to learn more about potential opportunities to work with both projects then secure your bookings today.15-minute time slots across the two days are provided. Please note that the two projects, while closely linked, are unable to carry out meetings jointly. Therefore, you will need to book separate meetings with each project. About the projectsThe two projects are independent entities and have different shareholder makeups. However, the projects have signed a ‘Good Neighbour Agreement’ that enables closer liaison, information sharing and joint planning. The projects have almost fully aligned onshore cable route corridors and have co-located substation sites. Both projects expect to begin construction in 2027 following consent, CfD and FID, and both projects aim to be operational by 2030 to align with their expected grid connection dates. Five Estuaries is a proposed extension to the existing Galloper Wind Farm. The proposed wind farm would be split across two separate seabed areas covering 128km2 in the southern North Sea and create enough energy each year to power hundreds of thousands of homes. The project includes up to 79 turbines and would be located approximately 37km at its closest point off the coast of south Suffolk. Coming ashore at Sandy Point between Frinton-on-Sea and Holland-on-Sea in Tendring, Essex, underground cables would then travel approximately 24km to a new substation located to the west of Little Bromley. Finally connecting the power to the proposed adjacent East Anglia Connection Node substation, part of National Grid’s Norwich to Tilbury Project. North Falls is a proposed extension to the existing Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm in the southern North Sea, approximately 40km off the East Anglian coast at its nearest point. North Falls is proposing to develop and construct a new offshore wind farm comprising up to 57 turbines located in an approximately 95km2 offshore array area. Coming ashore near Kirby Brook, Essex, underground cables would then travel approximately 24km to a new substation located to the west of Little Bromley, near Ardleigh, before it enters the national electricity network via the proposed adjacent East Anglia Connection Node substation, part of National Grid’s Norwich to Tilbury project.Nossa equipe
