Welcome to TeleSkills, a virtual surgical skills tutoring programme for medical students!Covid-19 has impacted on access to surgical skills training for medical students due to social distancing and pressures on healthcare resources, including clinicians. We recognise the important role that surgical trainees have in helping students to practise, improve, and gain confidence in basic surgical skills.TeleSkills aims to address this gap by virtually linking students and tutors through video-calling platforms. TeleSkills provides flexible access for both tutors and students, enabling you to access and deliver teaching at a time and place that's convenient for you.Through inventive use of your mobile device, we provide virtual 'over-the-shoulder' style teaching on suturing techniques and knot tying.TeleSkills is a new programme and, as as our team grows, we hope to bring you a wider range of skills training delivered virtually.Nossa equipe
