Research Assistance: Papers and Presentations

Paper Development

One-on-one guidance with writing thesis, building argument, and organizing a paper’s essay. Includes editing of TWO pages after the session.
Future Applicant Consultation (for students in 10th Grade or lower)

Consultation for future college applicants goals and the steps needed to increase the student’s chances of being accepted at their desired school and major.
Vocabulary Development

Student will learn ABC’s, phonics (letter sounds), three and four letter words, and be able to identify upper and lower case letters.
Reading Development

Student will learn how to read sight words and sound out unknown words. If the student can already read, they will learn how to read fluidly out loud and to themselves upper level books and words.
Writing Development
45 min
Student will learn how to write sight words and spell unknown words. If the student can already write, they will learn how to write complete sentences and then paragraphs.
Math Development
45 min
Student will learn how to count to 50. If the student already know how to count, then based on their knowledge they will learn how to do basic and complex equations of addition and subtraction, followed by multiplication and division.
Reading Comprehension Development

Student will learn how to interpret and form their own analysis of sentences, passages, poems, and books.
English Skills Prep

Student’s writing, reading, and reading comprehension skills will be developed and strengthened for their next grade.
Math Skills Prep

Elementary students’ operational, word problem, and fraction related skills will be developed. Middle and High School students’ skills correlating to their upcoming year in math (for example Geometry and Algebra) will be developed and strengthened.
Accelerated, Honors, & Advanced Placement Skills Prep

Student’s timed writing and/or math will be developed according to their advanced course of study. Additionally, they will learn preliminary information for their upcoming year to start off with a strong foundation in their coursework.
