Future Tech WestonThe West of England Institute of Technology (WEIoT) is working with one of its Town Council’s to deliver an event which will raise the awareness of future technologies and related jobs.The 4-day event in July aims to showcase the potential technology, to demonstrate to residents of region what the future holds. Working with AECOM and Westfield Capri project (a collaborative research and development project awarded by The Centre for Connected & Autonomous Vehicles), the Westfield pod will be part of this technology showcase providing demonstrations and trips down Weston super Mare’s promenade. The POD is electric powered vehicle which can be manually driven, via externally connected joystick, or automatically along a predefined route. We are taking bookings to experience The POD for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please book your date and time, below.
