Hatha & Vinyasa YogaA Hatha and Vinyasa Fusion class. Often the class will be Hatha yoga, typically holding poses between 3-5 breaths. Then we will bring in a more energetic feel with Vinyasa yoga, moving between poses at a slightly quicker pace, typically between 1-2 breaths. There is no pressure to move quickly, the class is open level and everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace. listen to your body and do what feels good for you. £7 per person. Wednesday evening yoga at Dance House, Princess Street, Normanton. Each week will be a yoga class designed to help you feel good. We shall explore different styles of yoga such as Hatha and Vinyasa and sometimes will try a bit of Yin and Restorative. This is an open level class but if you have never done Yoga before or its been a while since your last practice please message me on on either Facebook or Instagram if you have questions. You will need to bring a yoga mat with you and wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in. We shall explore popular yoga asanas (poses) and work at a steady pace. Using the poses to get into our bodies and working with the breath to help clear the mind. Please cancel your booking if you are unable to attend. This will allow anyone on the waitlist, to secure a place.

Reiki is a gentle, holistic energy healing practice that promotes relaxation, balance and overall well-being. Reiki is derived from two Japanese words:                                                                              "rei" meaning "Universal" or "Spiritual".                           "ki" meaning "life force energy".                                       So reiki can be understood as "Universal life force energy" which is channelled through the attuned practitioners palms (I am a Level 3a Reiki practitioner and was first attuned in 2019).I use a combination of both light touch and hands-off techniques to channel reiki energy throughout your whole body, including focusing on the 7 energy systems that run in alignment vertically along your body, known as "Chakras". Receiving this positive & peaceful reiki energy healing helps to clear blockages such as trapped emotions or energy, induces relaxation, turns off your Sympathetic Nervous System  (Fight/flight/freeze/fawn) and turns on your Parasympathetic Nervous System to help return your body and mind to a state of equilibrium and promote the body's natural healing processes. When our body is in a SNS state, we tend to experience feelings of anxiety, depression, stress and overwhelm. Our body and mind then find it difficult to process feelings and situations and can therefore hold on to trauma and emotions. Overtime this can manifest into ailments and illnesses both psychologically, physiologically and physically. Because of the relaxation, rebalancing & restorative nature of reiki healing, it gently enhances our mental, emotional & physical health. Reiki is known to reduce stress & anxiety, improve sleep, calm the mind, boost energy levels, alleviate pain and helps emotional regulation.I also incorporate other modalities into my reiki healing sessions, including crystal healing, intuitive guidance and 'emotion code healing'. Emotion Code Healing is a modality that uses Muscle Testing techniques to identify and release trapped emotions from our body. Our fascia is like a web under our skin that connects the multilayered communication systems in our body- including the nervous system which I mentioned earlier. Our body is smart and 'keeps score' so while we may forget situations that caused an emotional response that was unprocessed (due to being in a SNS state) our subconscious mind does not. When an emotion is unprocessed, or not acknowledged our system will then store it in our body. It becomes trapped in our fascia and slowly manifests into other sensations, ailments, illnesses and side-effects. I'm sure you have experienced tightness and tension in your neck, shoulders and jaws when stressed! Once the trapped emotions or imbalance is identified, I then remove it using magnet healing (energy is energy, like attracts like) via your body's governing meridian (meridians and meridian points are used in acupuncture, like your body's energetic streams), it flows the trapped emotion out of your system.Reiki Integrative Healing is deeply relaxing, many people comment about feeling at peace or even the sensation of lightness afterwards. But also, due to the rebalancing and clearing, it is also common for emotions to come up, this is your body kicking in to its natural healing and releasing state. I have allowed time at the end of the session for gentle support and debrief if you should feel that you would like to talk about what has come up. Alternatively, if you're feeling called to pull an Oracle or Tarot card for clarity and guidance to support your inner compass in your current season of life, I can offer a short reading to end the session. *It is important to note that reiki integrative healing is a complementary therapy and should be used alongside but not replace medical and psychological professional care. If you are experiencing severe or debilitating symptoms you must consult your healthcare provider first and foremost. 

Evoking deep relaxation & relief. Clearing, rebalancing & soothing the mind, body and soul.Hybrid session includes initial short consult. We can discuss what may be coming up in your life and body and/or energetic & physiological side effects. Using muscle testing I can support in identifying trapped emotions or imbalances in the body & clear them.This is followed by a half hour 1/2 body relaxation massage with a variety of techniques to promote relaxation and soothing through both the fascia and muscles. Our body holds on to trapped emotions, stress & trauma within the body such as in the fascia and nervous system. When these blockages are trapped within the body, after time they can manifest into symptoms such as anxiety, depression, physical aches, ailments & illnesses including chronic illness.With the incorporation of positive reiki energy healing during and following the massage, this helps to clear blockages within the energetic system (chakras), and promote clearing & healing of stress, trapped emotions & trauma through bringing the Parasympathetic Nervous System back on and turning the Sympathetic Nervous System (Fight/Flight/Freeze/Fawn) off.This hybrid healing session is wholesome and well-rounded for a full emotional, mental, spiritual & physical healing & rebalance. An hour of time for yourself, in deep relaxation. Many often report feeling lighter and peaceful after these sessions. As this hybrid session works on clearing and rebalancing, you may also feel big shifts emotionally, energetically or physically and time is left at the end to allow for these to be discussed and supported if you wish. If you feel called, an Oracle or Tarot card can be pulled at the end to further support clarity & guidance of your Inner Compass in your current season of life.

A combination of techniques and gentle pressure to induce relaxation, relieve tension & provide an overall sense of tranquility. You can choose to lie face down or face up for your half-body massage. Face Down: The flow starts with the back, with a flow moving through the shoulders, neck and back and finishing with the back of legs and feet. Face Up: The flow begins with the legs working down to the feet. I then move up to the arms, neck, shoulders and chest. Finishing off with a gentle, light ace and head massage
