This summer, we are excited to be offering three-hour and full day workshops for children from the ages of 9-16. These workshops are designed to enhance life skills and make attendees aware of the opportunities that exist within the construction industry. The electrical/electronics/3D Laser Scanning workshops are informative, challenging, useful and above all fun, within a unique, safe workplace classroom.3 hours sessions available in the morning and in the afternoon at £20 per session. Full day sessions are available at £35 per session. Inspect, Test & Energise.Lighting Workshop Module 2Electrical Lighting Intermediate - Switch Upstairs Lights on From Downstairs - Convert a One-way Lighting Circuit for Two-way Switching. Connect circuit into a distribution board - Inspect, Test & Energise.Lighting Workshop Module 3Electrical Lighting Advanced - Downstairs Lighting Circuit - Install multiple composite One-way & Two-way Lighting Circuits fed from a consumer unit. Inspect, Test & Energise. ** Power Workshop Module 1Electrical Power Basics - X Box Socket 13 amp Radial Power Circuit. Inspect, Test & Energise.Power Workshop Module 2Electrical Power Intermediate - Multiple Sockets on a ring circuit - Lounge or downstairs area. Inspect, Test & Energise.Power Workshop Module 3Electrical Power Advanced - Multiple sockets on a ring circuit - Kitchen. Connect into a distribution board and inspect, test and energiseOpen/Conduit Work Shop Repeat any of Sessions 1 - 6 Systems Above Wired in PVC Conduit, Galvanised Conduit and learn how to cut and bend electrical containment systemsElectronics/Technology Work Shop Various Electronics Projects, including 3D Point Cloud Scanning, a technological way of laser scanning to provide accurate data collection of any space and objects. There will also be other small electronic projects which involve soldering. There is a small cost for soldering kits - £5 extra per session kit. * Lighting Module 1 to be Completed Prior to Modules 2 & 3 ** Power Module 1 to be Completed Prior to Module 2
