In this class, we will be focusing on technique, while also exploring creative movement and musicality. Dance will help to improve students overall movements quality which they can take from the floor into the air.

Kinetic Chain Release (KCR) TreatmentKCR is a holistic approach designed to enhance physical well-being by addressing the interconnectedness of the body's musculoskeletal system. This therapy is based on the principle that the body functions as a kinetic chain, where each segment influences the others. KCR focuses on releasing tension and restrictions in the body's fascia and muscles, promoting better alignment and movement. During a KCR session, clients typically engage in gentle movements and stretches that aim to restore balance and improve range of motion. Both our practitioners, Colette & Karin, guide their clients through specific mobilisation techniques that encourage the body to release stored tension, which can lead to increased flexibility, reduced pain, and improved overall function.

Thai foot massage is a traditional therapy that focuses on the feet and lower legs, offering a unique blend of relaxation and rejuvenation. Rooted in ancient Thai medicine, this massage technique is based on the concept of energy lines, known as "Sen," which are believed to run throughout the body. By stimulating specific points on the feet, practitioners aim to enhance the flow of energy and promote overall well-being. During a Thai foot massage session, clients can expect, a foot bath at the start, then a combination of gentle stretching, acupressure, and reflexology techniques. Our practitioner, Karin, uses her hands, fingers, and sometimes a wooden stick to apply pressure to various points on the feet, which correspond to different organs and systems in the body. This approach not only relaxes the feet but also helps alleviate tension in other areas, promoting a sense of balance and harmony.

Thai Stretch & Massage for the head, arms, and shoulders is a technique that combines gentle stretching and massage to relieve tension and promote relaxation. This treatment focuses on key areas where many of us often hold stress, such as the neck, shoulders, and arms. During the session, a practitioner, Karin, uses a combination of rhythmic movements, acupressure, and stretching techniques inspired by traditional Thai practices. The intention is to release tightness, improve flexibility, and enhance circulation.

1 hr in person class with Ella in Castletownbere. Class will start with meditation and breath and then move into a practice that changes weekly, working with a mixture of flexibility, awareness and some strength. Located in the studio upstairs by the Circe K petrol station.

This is the perfect class if you would like to go a bit deeper with your practice. We will take more time with breath and meditation. And spend longer with postures and moving practice, often using different techniques and approaches to work with the body. We often take a focus with  certain areas of the body too. It finishes with a long relaxation including a short sound bath. This class really aims to nourish you and help you connect in with your body and explore the asanas. The space is beautiful, comfortable and ideal to completely switch off.
