About the company
Smallprint captures your loved ones fingerprints, hand & footprints, handwriting, drawings and printed names in pure silver handmade jewellery.All jewellery is individually handmade with pure silver from start to finish by Tara in her Miranda home studio. Please allow 4 weeks for your order to be made.
Original Fingerprints;Fingerprints are captured directly into the silver clay before it is fired, meaning what your loved one touches is what you wear. For babies we recommend 16 weeks onwards, there is no age limit and adult prints are beautiful too. We need to see you to take fingerprints of your loved ones, please make an appointment. We do have Fingerprint moulds available for special situations but would always prefer to use a direct fingerprint.
Hand & Footprints:Hand & Footprints are taken using inkless wipes and sensitised paper, the inkprint is then scanned and shrunk to fit on your chosen piece of jewellery. There are no age resrictions, this is safe from newborn and as they are shrunk you can never be too big. We can also work with existing ink prints you may have. If you are unable to get your loved one to us please get in touch, we can give you the print kits and instructions for you take the prints yourself.
Handwriting and Drawings;Your loved ones handwriting is very unique, you may have a birthday card or letter from your loved one or a special drawing you little one has done. bring these along to your appointment and we can make them into something special.
Tender Touch; Enlarged Fingerprint Whorls, made using an ink fingerprint of your loved one. We can take the fingerprints during your booking or you can collect a kit to take your loved ones prints, and then bring them along to your appointment.
If you are adding to your Smallprint collection please dont forget to bring any existing jewellery along to your appointment to allow us to match any engraving etc.
