For larger projects, start with a 1/2 hour free consult and we'll get things rolling. Usually these result in a monthly retainer for three - six months, then switching to a website maintenance package.

Hello! I'm Karen and I have been a freelance web designer for 13 years years. Before that I worked as a web designer and user experience architect at large companies and for non-profit organizations. I currently offer one-on-one, personalized web services via Zoom for small businesses and non-profit organizations. I specialized in clean, user-friendly websites done in short time periods. Includes two hours of follow-up tasks, As a very basic start, this package is for when people search for your name or business name and who are searching within your local/regional area. A more advanced package is for when people are searching for the service or industry you are in - we will do some basic work on this but, for better results, I recommend hiring a professional SEO expert who focuses solely on search engine optimization. For the first hour or so, you and I will work together to gather the information needed to improve your search engine results, then I will go off and make the necessary changes to your website settings. We'll meet again after around three and half hours to discuss the work done and next steps. SEO is a gradual, step-by-step process that takes months or years. But we can get you set up with the basics and a tracking tool in half a day In a fews weeks to a few month you will start to see results such as: When someone in your local neighbourhood searches Google for your business name or name, you will appear on the first page of results, if not at the top of the page.

$100 CAD one-time fee I'll go into your WordPress admin and hosting account and bring your site back from oblivion. I'll do all the basic and necessary updates: WordPress itself, PHP if needed, theme, plugins, WooCommerce database (if applicable; and similar), check security settings and any other updating tasks. I will send you a report of work done, current status and any recommendations. Please provide your WordPress admin login username and password and hosting service account username and password. Once this task is done, I will either delete your account information or start a secure project document for you and store them there for future use. All hosted WordPress websites require regular updating - hire me and I'll keep an eye on things. $100 CAD one-time fee. Monthly maintenance packages are also available - please schedule a free 15 minute consultation or email me for details.
