About the company

Jewelry is one of the most personal forms of art you can own. Important pieces of jewelry like engagement rings, wedding bands, heirlooms, mourning jewelry, and pieces to commemorate special occasions become a part of our lives. We wear many of these pieces every day. We wear them on our skin, we fidget with them throughout the day, and we wear them often enough that they become a symbol of who we are and what we hold dear. Balefire is a company of metalsmiths and jewelers that is committed to education, collaboration, and creating truly unique pieces that match the lifestyle and aesthetics of your clients while honoring the importance of these pieces wearable of art. When booking with us, please note that Jamie is usually only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Baleigh is usually available on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Baleigh is talented, professional, efficient, and friendly!

Unique small business GEM!!

My mom and I stumbled upon Balefire and I fell in love. It is overwhelming to design/ pick out an engagement ring at big stores and online shopping. Baleigh is working with my partner and I to create one of a kind rings, and I’m so happy to be apart of this process where everything is ethically sourced and unique!

Balefire for life!!

From the very firsts time we met Jamie, we instantly felt like old friends. We felt totally heard and Jamie made sure we were an integral part of the creative process... and the finished product (my fiance's engagement ring) is absolutely stunning. We just met with her again to design our wedding bands and we're just as excited to see our visions brought to life. We cannot recommend Balefire enough.

Helpful & Unique

I had my initial meeting today with Baleigh for a custom bring/private jewelry making class. Baleigh was helpful, asked me a lot of questions and gave great suggestions. The store has beautiful jewelry and I recommend it to get unique pieces! Skip the big box jewelry stores to get wonderful pieces for your loved ones here.

Eclectic Art Gallery

Such a unique gallery of art! A nice touch is how each artist's story is highlighted which gives an insight to their style. I scheduled an appointment with Baleigh for a special ring and she shared so much knowledge & passion for her craft. I walked out of the store feeling more excited about the ring and the history of jewelry! If you're looking for something specific or just exploring Olde Town, don't miss out on Balefire!

Fantastic Service

I highly recommend working with Balefire for any and all of your jewelry needs. I needed help resizing a ring and my time with Jaime was incredibly helpful and educational. Excellent service and beautiful craft

My fiance and I just started to look at rings and I'm so happy I found Balefire. They were so helpful and educational. I love how they source ethically and are unique. Jamie was so accommodating and helped us find something perfect. we look forward to working with them on our bands!
