Your visit to the Pasture Studio, where guests build their own Pasture Pal or Nature Pal, the Isle of Mans answer to Build-a-Bear, but with a farm twist. Admission is FREE for up to 6 people per booking, with each visit beginning by pre-ordering your quantity of Pasture Pals or Nature Pals, then adding any extras you'd like to experience during your time at Ballakeenan Farm.You can also add on to your booking:A visit to our orphan lambs in the Bottle Barn and learn how we care for them and nurture them into fully grown sheep!Bottle feed the final milk feeds for our orphan lambs as their milk feeding journey comes to an end and they prepare to head out and join the rest of the flock.GreenFleece Plant Potting! plant and pot your own fleece fed plant to take home.Plant a SPUD! A fun, hands-on farm activity where you plant your own potato in one of our buckets to grow at home. The Pasture Studio is designed to be relaxed, personal and hands-on, giving you real time with the farmers & a genuine connection to life on the farm. While we follow strict hygiene and animal welfare practices, we completely understand that not everyone feels comfortable visiting young lambs. Visiting the animal contact area is entirely optional on our add on page and you are very welcome to simply enjoy time in the farmhouse at the Pasture Studio workshop and other activities if you would prefer not to enter the animal contact area.
