About the company

Byron has been playing and teaching golf for over 25 years. He is a former All-American, Team Captain, and MVP of the UCLA Golf Team. After a successful amateur career he went on to play professionally for 10 years on the Nationwide, Asian, South American and Golden State Tours. Byron has been incorporating his extensive knowledge of golf to instruct his students, of all skill levels and playing abilities, for over 10 years.1hr Lesson- $1101/2hr Lesson-$60

Highly Effective

I was blown away at the mix of professionalism and attentiveness while being extremely effective. Byron takes the time to understand the person and their swing before suggesting a path forward. I had a fundamentally flawed swing I have had for years and I’m already on the road to recover that I can see and feel. Looking forward to working with Byron more!

Swing fixer

I’ve had several golf instructors in the past but Byron is definitely by far the most effective. He’s fixed elements of my swing I was aware were flawed and others I wasn’t through specific simple drills. The “high hand club head low” drill for instance has done wonders to improve contact / compression consistency for my swing. Looking forward to the next lesson.

Nearly Instant Improvement

I hadn't played golf in nearly two years. I was referred to Byron to get a lesson to reintroduce myself back to golf. Bryon understands the swing at every point. With video and instruction, he uses it to craft techniques to best help your swing find ways to improve very quickly. He provided me with specific instructions I could use today in one hour. I look forward to my first round of golf in a long time, thanks to the new techniques and boost of confidence this lesson with Bryon provided me. I highly recommend Byron for your next golf lesson.

Best golf instructor in the SF Bay Area!

Byron has an incredible understanding of the golf swing and is able to quickly identify the single change for that lesson that will help you improve the most. He's great at simplifying the swing for beginners but he also knows enough about advanced swing mechanics to help low handicap players. I'm a single-digit handicap and I really wanted an instructor who could help me root out the hidden inconsistencies in my swing. I've made massive strides by working with Byron and would recommend him to anyone. On top of all that, he's just a super nice guy who doesn't have any hidden agenda other than helping you play your best golf.

great golf instructor!

Byron is really helpful with making some technical improvements with his coaching and visual examples. He's good at adjusting his approach to keep you motivated. We've had several coaches and he is our favorite!

Great instruction

I found Byron on an internet search for golf instruction, after reading some of his reviews I decided to give him a try. I have had numerous golf lessons over the years and have not improved relative to the amount of instruction I have had. I gave up on golf instructors and tried to do it myself through YouTube videos, I think I did as good as the prior instructors, however still not good enough. After a long lay off from instructors and being completely frustrated I decided I would give Byron a try. Immediately I could tell he has a great understanding of the golf swing, in particular my swing and the problems with it. I suffer from an over the top swing which I have been trying to overcome for years. Byron isn’t an instructor the chases lines but gave me an understanding as to why I swing over the top. He explained some things differently than I had not heard before, which gave me a new perspective on my swing. Byron had me do a couple of drills that made me actually feel what I should be doing in the swing. I suffer from to much forearm roll in the backswing, poor footwork and hip stall in the downswing. The drills he gave me made me feel a different sensation and an understanding of what I need to do to stop swinging over the top. He uses a golf simulator and video to show you your swing as compared to a pro. I recommend Byron to anybody at any level, I think he could help you and I will return for more lessons once I get these drills down that he gave me.

Best golf coach

I have had several golf teachers and Byron is the best so far. He is able to perceive instantly what your issues are and gives you easy to follow instructions starting from the basics. This is backed up by the photographs and videos of your swing, which is so very revealing. The fact that he concentrates on grip, stance, weight distribution and back swing to begin with means that you will find successive levels more achievable faster. On top of that he is a really nice guy and my enjoyment of the game has improved exponentially. I highly recommend him
