A Magical Christmas Walk

Thank you so much for creating such a lovely illuminated walk. We frequent the wood often to visit my Dad’s tree but it felt like a completely different experience in such an atmospheric environment. The lights were so subtle and effective - it was truly stunning. I also felt quite emotional in what seemed like a very special moment at my Dad’s tree. It was quite magical. I genuinely thank you for the efforts you have made and the time you have spent in making the wood look so beautiful. I sincerely hope it is an event you continue to hold and I for one will absolutely be visiting again.

A lovely illuminated walk

A well organised event shared with family, a welcome opportunity to feel festive & Christmas-like in difficult, different, times. A few more of the twinkly coloured lights would have improved it for the children but it was exactly as described, an illuminated walk through the woods, tastefully done. We will certainly come again in the future, lovely. Well done! Thank you. Oooh, nearly forgot, excellent toilet facilities (I wasn't expecting there to be any!) & the added bonus of refreshments at the end - we had a delicious hot chocolate (with the works, whipped cream & marshmallows

Thank you so much for all your hard work in creating a magical illuminated walk through a very special wood. We didn't know what to expect, but were so pleased that the illuminations were subtle and understated, in keeping with the peaceful natural surroundings. It was lovely to have the festive area with music alongside the refreshments, but we really appreciated the peace and quiet as we walked around the wood. We were able to visit mum's tree, and commented that she would have loved seeing all the magical twinkly lights. Absolute perfection, we look forward to similar events in the future.

We then returned to have a yummy hot chocolate with marshmallows and mulled wine, Christmas songs playing in the background and warm inviting fire burning. JUST MAGICAL.. Christmas walk

A lovely festive evening. Beautiful lights. Having an open fire with a mulled wine listening to Christmas songs was just perfect. My family and I had a lovely evening. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Thank you.

We travelled from Manchester and wasn’t disappointed. What a lovely walk we had with our grandchildren and it was very special. It was very well organised and staff/helpers were outstanding. Thank you for a special festive evening xx
