Berlin visitor - shellac nails

My technician today was Frankie and she was fab. Her attention to detail was outstanding and her colour recommendations were superb. I could also hear the (dutch) technician next to us also guiding her client very professionally. Great atmosphere and music. Wish I had a nail bar like this back at home. Highly recommend giving this salon a try.

Unpleasant expereince

I had quite an unpleasant experience at Isla last week. At my first Isla appointment, I asked the master if she can do chrome nails and she assured that yes. Once the appointment was completed my nails looks horrible, covered not only in glitter but also in glue (I wish I could upload the after treatment photo). After the appointment, I asked the master to fix my nails but she pushed back because she had another client waiting. I then headed toward the receptionist Madison who was super rude. She didn't even want to look at my nails and said that they have no time for the upcoming 2 weeks to fix my nails. I had to leave Isla feeling furious. After coming back another day I bumped into another receptionist Ulanda who was an absolute star. She took 30min to move appointments around and squeezed me in to completely re-do my nails in a few days time. After 5 days walking with insanely terrible nails, I had an appointment with another master who has re-done my nails in chrome. Not the best best but better than before. Sadly, but sure if I'll come back to Isla.....
