Easyjet OCC and Line Training Preparation course
Our Easyjet OCC and Line Training preparation course is a three day course comprising ground-based instruction and fixed base simulator exercises and scenarios. The course will cover a broad perimeter of relevant topics and subjects.
Course Content
Days 1 and 2 will commence with a briefing and ground instruction with relevant training presentations as well as instruction on the company iPad with which you will be issued upon starting with Easyjet. This will be particularly useful for understanding performance preparation and validation as well as knowing where to find relevant training and flight information.
Day 3 will cover review, recap, clarifications and practice/consolidation both on the ground and in the simulator. It will also allow some time margin in addition to days 1 and 2 in particular if new topics present themselves through discussions.
The instruction plan will cover topics applicable to easyJet SOPs, OCC, use of the EFB and preparation for the LOE/LPC/OPC. The simulator scenarios will be setup and executed in line with the easyjet scenarios you will encounter during your training. Some of the scenarios, such as the low fuel exercise will be useful for practice of situational awareness and decision making.
The course will cover topics including:
· A/C setup on stand, weight and balance and performance ;
· Take-off techniques, departure, cruise and arrival;
· 3D and 2D approaches and Autoland;
· After landing, parking and shutdown;
· Landing/Go Around (also in ALT and DIRECT);
· UPRT - Stall / Nose Up / Nose Down;
· OEI operations, EFATOs, RTO and EVAC,
· LVOs and Winter Ops
