LaunchX gives high school students the skills and mindset to start real companies.Our programs help students leverage their talents and tenacity to build a viable startup. We train them in the skills and innovative thinking that allow founders to create successful businesses, challenging them to take a real startup from idea to execution and impact.

Kathy Tran
Kathy is a design thinking instructor, entrepreneurship makerspace co-founder, and stationery enthusiast. She is interested in design education through making using various tools and processes: paper/foam models, 3D printing, laser cutting, sewing, and digital experience prototyping. She's looking forward to apply making and tinkering in new ways to support students in their start ups at LaunchX.

I currently design software for industrial automation systems. I have many years of 3D printing experience including running a makerspace. I also enjoy photoshop, programming, working with arduino, and recently I have been studying machine learning. I am looking forward to working with each team on actualizing their ideas.
