    Excellent with areas for improvement

It is a privilege that a bike park of this quality exists in Suffolk and represents a monument to the cycling community in the UK. This reflects the passion and hard work from those who run the business as well as the volunteers and social media influencers who help promote the site more widely to those both young and older. I often speak to new people at the park, and it is not uncommon for people to travel from Kent or even further because they’ve heard how great the park is! There is only one bug bear of mine (not enough to mark the review anything less than 5/5 stars) and that is the “uplift” track at the end of the Duel Slalom and Fairground lines. When the park gets a little busier in the day this relatively narrow path gets completely clogged up with people, some of whom come to a complete stop (usually waiting for their friends) at the end of the very fast termination to Duel Slalom/Big Dipper etc. On the rest of the “uplift” track (noting that there is no uplift service but I can’t think of a better word to describe it) people push bikes up on the right-hand side and not the left. This is a problem for those with e-bikes and those who are focusing as much on their fitness as they are their technique and want to ride up the hill. It gets quite sketchy when young children and adults are swerving around unpredictably to avoid the trees/stumps on the way back up the hill. Not only that but the inability to move past can get frustrating as riders have reduced situational awareness with full-face helmets on and others are simply too distracted to think someone may want to overtake them. A simple improvement would be to have improved signage at the bottom of Duel Slalom, eg “DO NOT LOITER HERE” and on the way back up the hill signage to reinforce the rule that nobody should be pushing a bike on the right-hand side and nobody should be riding up the hill on the left hand side. There is only one sign at the moment and it is quite far up the hill and quite small (most ignore it). Whilst most of this is down to rider behaviour and one of the great things about Twisted Oaks is that it brings together riders of all skills and ages, there is an onus on the park to remind people of good cycling etiquette. The only simple way of doing that would be spamming signs (with eye-catching detail/colours) so that it becomes hard to ignore. I absolutely love this place and will be coming back for many years to come.

    Always awesome

Another great morning on the trails and great to see so much work being done (although I miss the mouse trap!). Just hope there’s plenty of lines for us blue/red level riders as well as the massive stuff! Lovely to see so many people of all ages out having fun in the sunshine ????

    BEST DAY EVER!!

Been here a few times and always have a good time. Don't usually ride myself as no room in the car for my bike. Both my boys rode this visit along with some mates, some being there first time and loved it, youngest said it was he's best day ever. Only criticism is no food onsite anymore. Keep up the good work guys!!!

    FANTASTIC BIKE PARK

First time we came was September 2024. Since then we’ve done so many trips with our group MBCYCLERY / MB AIRBORNE DIVISION The staff are fantastic, the people that come are so lovely and welcoming. Facilities are great and they have a great camera man Ben to capture your day. Couldn’t recommend more highly to be honest. The staff work so hard and new lines / tracks appear monthly keeping us coming back for me

Thanks for putting in the work!

Stoked. Had an epic day riding familiar favourites and a bunch of new trails (haven’t been for just over a year!).

Probably the best UK bike park

Here's why: variety of riding to suit all abilities (trails, jumps, slopestyle, XC, dual slalom, 4X, dort jumps - beginner to pro), affordable and accessible, small hill that packs a punch (every trail is short but full of fun, 2 mins pushup = more laps!!), the riders and crew are lovely people that bring good vibes, tasty food and even accommodation on site!

    Thank you

Dear team, I just like to say a big thank you for taking care of me after my accident. I like to thank the riders that came to help too. This is so comforting to know everyone is looking out for one another. Nothing broken just bruised and trying to recollect what happened ???? Will definitely be back soon.

    Fantastic place

Twisted Oaks was recommended by some friends and they weren't wrong. As a family of 4 with varying abilities and bravery we all had a great day.
