I am Mr. Wycliff Sioge Nyabuto. I hold a Bachelor of Education graduate in Mathematics and Economics. I am an enthusiastic educator with over 9 years of teaching experience in international curricula, including the IB, Cambridge International Exams (CIE) and Edexcel. I am an examiner for MYP Mathematics, Cambridge IGCSE and Additional Mathematics, and OCR-Economics. I have been teaching DP Mathematics A&I SL and HL, and A&A SL with significant achievements for my students.

I am Elvis Karume Ayaga, from Kenya. I hold a Bachelor of Education and an MSC (Geography). I am an experienced DP and MYP teacher and an active member of the committee in charge of the school’s Admission and Behaviour policies in line with the IB requirements. In the past, I have also collaborated with GLOBE organization, which eventually donated an automatic weather station to the Academy. In addition, I can help students develop their analytical and assessment skills by implementing ICT programs such as LMS, NEARPOD & KAHOOT.

I’m a certified Mathematics teacher from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Teaching for secondary and higher education.

25 years of experience teaching in high schools, 11 of which I’ve taught DP and MYP, have given me plenty of expertise in guiding students with excellence. Furthermore, I’m both a Paper 2 Examiner and an Internal Assessments Team Leader, as well as providing one-on-one online tutoring lessons.

Correcting papers has helped me gain a clear view of the exams’ objectives - I can help students focus on the right goals and improve their performance and skills in order to achieve the best possible results.

One of my best qualities is my patience and love for teaching: I will always find every possible way to explain the same topic and help the student understand it.

DP Biology

I hold a Bachelor Degree in Biological Science from Facultad de Ciencias Exactas y Naturales, Universidad de Buenos Aires. I am also Biology Professor, nowadays I am working at  St John´s School in Pilar city. Moreover, I am IB DP Biology Extended Essay examiner, as well as  Biology HL and SL  Internal Assessment and  Paper 2 examiner.

I love teaching and enjoy spending the day at School among students and colleagues.  It is not only my job, but  also my passion. Last but not least,  I am mother of six children, all IB DP graduates.

DP English Language & Literature - English Literature - Theatre - ToK

I enjoy teaching DP Literature, Theatre, and ToK and training IB teachers in workshops. I earned my PhD in English Literature at University of British Columbia in 1999 and a diploma in professional acting at Drama Studio London in 2016. Teaching IB students at TASIS American School in England (9.5 years) was an enriching experience that prepared me well for working at United World College-USA (2.5 years). My work in these institutions has broadened my intellectual and cultural horizons beyond my expectations, and I feel that my teaching, learning, and mentoring strengths thrive in these international environments. This strong IB background has made it possible for me to co-author IB course companions for Oxford University Press.

My tutoring style is based fundamentally on the intersection between a reflective understanding of the student’s personal journey and a detailed understanding of the IB diploma programme. Impactful tutoring involves enabling the synergy between these two worlds. DP Physics

I've been teaching Physics for the last 23 years. I've helped hundreds of students to walk their paths towards a successful result in their examinations. My experience as an IB Physics teacher began in 2009, and since then, I have gained a profound experience in the difficulties that students tend to have while struggling with the subject.

Being also an IB Physics examiner for Paper 2 has granted me the opportunity to gain an even more detailed view of the most common misconceptions that students from around the globe tend to carry with them when sitting for an examination. 
I am a passionate teacher that thinks that every new concept, idea, and goal must be seen through my students' eyes. I believe that is the only way of establishing a genuine teacher-student connection. As a teacher, this is my strongest skill: the ability to establish a deep connection to the students' point of view. Each student's guidance takes this as essential information so that each new concept and idea fits in its proper place within the structure.

I can easily identify students' doubts, misconceptions, and difficulties experienced while studying. Throughout the years, I have acquired vast knowledge of not only how each concept, each procedure, and each idea are evaluated but also how students tend to respond. Sharing this information with my students has increased their results exponentially.

DP Biology - DP  Environmental Systems and Societies

I have been teaching DP Biology for over 10 years in international schools in Brazil, England, Denmark, Albania, Mexico and Hungary. I am a passionate Brazilian Botanist and an IB Environmental Systems and Societies Examiner too. I am a Google Educator Level 2, who can easily integrate technology into the classroom as well as hands-on projects and use of local real environmental data. DP Business Management

I have been teaching in IB schools for almost 30 years. Since 2006 I organized the course and started teaching Business Management for the IB DP programme. Today, I am the Academic Dean and IB teacher of Business Management at the British School of Sofia, Bulgaria. I am an examiner for Higher Level and a Workshop Leader for Business Management and the quality controller/consultant for the Business Management book released by Kognity. For the past five years, my students have achieved the following results: 100% pass rate in Business Management, where above 60% scored a 6 or a 7.

I attended Ca' Foscari University in Venice (Italy) and obtained a degree in Administration, Finance and Control. In the first part of my professional life, I worked as an international tax consultant in a multinational professional services company, first in Italy and then in Spain. Always looking for new challenges and opportunities, I decided to specialize in teaching Spanish and obtained a master's degree in ELE (Español Lengua Extranjera).

I hold a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, and I am a chemistry professor for the intermediate and higher levels. I have been teaching IB DP Chemistry since 2008. During these years, I have become an Internal Assessment and Extended Essay Supervisor and an IB Examiner as well. I am Diana Castillo. I have a Bachelor degree in Arts of Chemistry, and a Master in Education. I have been teaching DP Chemistry SL and HL for 8 years. The passing rate of my previous cohorts is over 90%. I really enjoy teaching and willing to support you.

DP History

I am a skilled and experienced IB educator with the ability to teach, motivate and guide students while maintaining a high level of interest and achievement. I am an Irish educator with a Master's in Education. I have teaching experience at university, high school, middle school, and primary school levels. I am passionate about the IB and work in the IB educator network as a workshop leader and as an IB MYP Language examiner. I have been working within International Education for 15 years in many countries around the world. I am currently based in Italy having spent the majority of my educational career working in France, Mexico, Austria, Canada, the U.S.A., and the U.K.  Language is the vehicle for thought, creativity, and reflection.  I can help you in developing the six skills areas of language; listening, speaking, reading, writing, viewing, and presenting in a variety of contexts. I can guide you in developing your critical, creative, and personal approaches to studying and analysing literary and non-literary texts.

I come from a city called Oviedo, on the North coast of Spain. I have been teaching Spanish since 1998. I studied Spanish Philology (Languages and Literature) in the specialty of Language and Linguistics at the University of Oviedo (Spain). Karina Avendaño tiene más de 20 años de experiencia profesional y estudios en educación a nivel medio y superior.

A nivel superior es directora de estudios en línea en la Escuela Bancaria y Comercial, S.A. de México.

A nivel medio imparte la materia de gestión empresarial y forma parte de la red de educadores del IB donde imparte talleres, revisa distintos documentos, desarrolla currículum, asesora colegios, examina la P2 de NS y el proyecto de investigación de NS. Forma de CID . Espacio profesores donde desarrolla materiales para capacitación para profesores que imparten gestión empresarial. Forma parte de la asociación de colegios IB México, IBAMEX, como integrante de su mesa directiva.

IB History, IB TOK

I hold a Master´s degree in Historical Research, and I have been in the academic field for over twenty years. Since 2001, I have acquired much experience teaching IGCSE, Cambridge syllabus, and IB Diploma Programme in History and Theory of Knowledge.

In 2016 I became an IB History Examiner for the components of the Extended Essay, Paper 2, and Internal Assessments. The study of History involves a challenging and demanding critical exploration of the past. This subject is very relevant as it helps students better understand the nature of humans.

For that reason, I really enjoy teaching students to develop skills that will help them after they leave school.

MYP Spanish Language & Literature - DP Spanish Language & Literature - Extended Essay

Through my eleven years of experience teaching classes in both English and Spanish, I've acquired much experience teaching for international schools delivering both IGCSE, Cambridge syllabus and Diploma Programme, International Baccalaureate. I have become a Certified Examiner of components for the IBO MYP and Spanish A: Language and Literature (Internal Assessment, Paper one, Paper Two) and Extended Essay. I have guided many students with different needs on writing and delivering adequate papers and performing their oral abilities in Spanish, while developing critical thinking and tools for text analysis. Be welcome to join me, I will do my best to help you as well!

A lo largo de mis once años de experiencia en el aula de todos los niveles, he ganado una gran experiencia guiando clases en escuelas internacionales que brindan el currículum de IGCSE de Cambridge y el Programa del Diploma del Bachillerato Internacional.

MYP French Language Acquisition - DP French Language Acquisition

After obtaining a PGCEi from Nottingham University, I have been teaching French as a foreign language in IB schools in Ethiopia, Kazakhstan in Sudan. I am an IB DP Language B examiner and I have been teaching  Primary school, Middle school, and High school levels.

My belief in teaching is not only about giving my students information but also about encouraging them to develop their ability to think, reason, and reflect in another language. It is my goal to combine my extensive range of life experiences with my ability and passion to be a stimulating, compassionate and holistic teacher, who will make a positive contribution to students.

I´m a certified English teacher and hold a Bachelor´s Degree in English Language and Literature. I have been teaching in high school for more than 25 years and IB DP since 2011, which has given me plenty of expertise in guiding students with excellence and enthusiasm towards their goals.
