Darren is our owner and company director and has a wealth of experience in dealing with all types of dog behaviour and training issues. Darren is educated to Master’s degree level in Leadership, Organisation & Strategy and is IMDT trained in dog behaviour and commercial dog daycare. He has an extensive senior leadership experience with the public sector, regulatory and legal sectors and took a leap away from the corporate sector to follow his passion in dogs and start the Paws4fun UK business. Darren's passion has always been dogs and he developed the company in tribute to his own dogs which passed away in 2018. In his words "My dogs were my life and they brought me so much happiness, joy and fun, I still think about them every single day and I wanted to give something back to the dog world by starting this incredible business". Under his leadership and direction the company has grown from strength to strength and not only does he bring an immense passion around the dogs we have in our 'pack' but his corporate background also helps us excel in our customer service provision. The company maintains some fantastic customer reviews and this is testament to Darren's focus on making sure we offer the very best time for your dogs and absolute confidence in our service to you as our customers. Darren coordinates the day to day activities of our daycare, dog walking, dog taxi services, and he delivers our nationwide dog behaviour consultations, follow on training, dog training and puppy training sessions. Darren also provides our wedding and civil partnership chaperone services.

Our daycare starts from £25 per day per per dog for 8 hours of daycare, (9hrs £26, 10hrs £27, 11hrs £28, 12 hrs £29).
Our daycare includes all walking and feeding and care of your dog throughout the day. If your dog has any special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance of your booking so that we can cater for them.
We do ask to see your dog’s vaccination and kennel cough records before accepting your dogs into our daycare.
During the first daycare booking with us we carry out an assessment throughout the day to ensure your dog is suited to a daycare environment and to also ensure that they are comfortable and relaxed with our existing daycare pack.
We do not accept dogs that are aggressive or reactive around other dogs into our daycare. In these circumstances we would refer you to our own professional dog behaviour consultation & training services in the first instance so that we can help solve your dog’s behaviour.
We operate from 7am to 7pm seven days a week, making us the most accessible and flexible dog care services business in the region. We also offer a free collection and drop off service for local customers within Stafford, for customers elsewhere we offer the same service for a small additional fee dependent on mileage.

This is our 3-hour dog behaviour consultation session.
Our dog behaviour consultations and dog training is as much about the owner as it is for your dogs as we seek to teach owners new skills that will help both you and your dogs for the long term. We often find that solving dog behaviour problems involves more guidance and advice to dog owners and this is why we specialise in providing one to one behavioural consultation as well as in depth dog behaviour training to embed the learning needed.
Paws4Fun staff have a wealth of experience in both dog training and solving all types of dog behavioural problems, including everything from aggression to leash training. We also aim to give the very best and current behaviour advice to owners to help them work with their dog’s behaviour. Our dog behaviourist is educated to Master Degree level and holds IMDT qualifications in both dog behaviour and dog daycare management. All of our staff are IMDT qualified in dog daycare management and first aid as a minimum.
We recommend for multiple behaviour issues that customers book an initial 3-hour consultation session with us and your dog before we go into our follow up behaviour training. This ensures we get a full understanding of what is happening for your dog and for you as the owner and ideally, we would want to observe the behaviours you describe (safely) so that we can gain a better knowledge of what might be the problem.
During our session, we will identify and summarise the problems we have observed and then work with you in the session to teach you the skills and knowledge required to change the behaviour. We then build a plan and set the ongoing training required to embed the new learning. For one dog a 3-hour consultation session is priced at £220. Our ongoing behaviour training is then £55 per hour.

Our follow-on sessions will help you recap and home in on your newly acquired skills, it also gives us the opportunity to check in on you and your dog’s progress.
During this session, we will assess the dog and its behaviour, observe what changes there have been and we identify what is left to do in terms of improvement and modification to your techniques. Our one hour follow on training sessions are priced at £55 per hour.

Having your dog share your special day is a fantastic experience. Paws4fun offer a bespoke and all-inclusive wedding / civil partnership dog chaperone service for couples who would love to include their dog in their special day. Imagine your dog as the guest of honour, greeting your guests as they arrive, the ring bearer, flower girl, or part of your wedding photographs and memories.
Today couples are throwing out the traditional rule book and redefining what a great wedding / civil partnership looks like. After all your dog is part of the family, so why would we want them to miss out on the fun and celebrations of your big day? We work with you, your venue, your photographer to make sure that everything goes to plan and that you can relax and enjoy your day knowing your dog is coordinated into your special day.
Once you have set your day and made your booking, we will contact you to have a one-to-one consultation with you and plan how you would like your dog to be part of your wedding / civil partnership and ensure we have your detailed requirements for the day. Our basic package includes a free initial face to face consultation to determine your exact requirements. We create a plan to bring your dog’s involvement in your big day alive. We collect your dog from an agreed location / time on the morning of your day. We can pet sit your dog so that all your wedding preparations can go smoothly. We walk your dog beforehand, so they feel relaxed and calm for the day ahead. We transport your dog in our Paws4fun UK wedding / Civil partnership car, so they can also arrive in style. We will make sure your dog is all spruced up and ready for those important photographs. We ensure your dog’s gets all the comfort breaks they need, that they are fed, watered and relaxed throughout the day.
We can incorporate your dog into the drink’s reception. We Chaperone your dog throughout the day making sure they are where you want them to be, at the church, the wedding venue, the photographs, even ready for the first dance! We can escort your dog back to a location of your choice after all the fun has concluded whether that be your home, a doggie hotel, kennels, neighbours or friends. Or you may want us to pet sit your dog in your chosen hotel. If you wish to book our dog Chaperone service, we ask that our fees are paid in advance to secure your booking. As with all our services we adhere to a strict cancellation policy (See our terms and conditions).

Our one-to-one dog training is designed to work with you and your dog on specific training issues you would like to address. An example would be that you find your dog is pulling on its lead and you would like to have a more relaxed walk, learning how to get your dog walking nicely alongside you. It is important to recognise that this is not a cheaper replacement for our behaviour consultation & training session but is about addressing low-level single-issue training needs.
We plan the session with you to identify what issue you would like to address and then during the session we work with you and your dog to provide some very practical tips, hints and techniques that you can then use with your dog. This session is priced at £55 per hour.
Please note that if your dog has behaviour issues, we recommend that you do not use this session but instead book our behaviour consultation session and training session, our behaviour sessions deal with more embedded issues.

Whatever the reason for you needing a pet taxi, Paws4fun UK offer an excellent, reliable and safe way to transport your dog. Whether it’s travelling within the UK, to or from Europe we can ensure you and your dog get to your destination safely and in comfort. Our vehicles are four wheel drive VW Transporters which are designed to transport multiple dogs in comfort.
We understand that dog owner’s number one concern is the safety and security of their pet. With Paws4fun UK pet taxi services, whether your dog is travelling alone, or you are alongside, you can be assured your dog is in good hands. Our pet taxi vehicles are fitted and maintained to DEFRA standards with comfortable bedding, air conditioning and individual crash proof crates. Water and food is always available throughout the journey and when transporting your dog’s, we take regular breaks so they can stretch their legs and go to the toilet. If the journey goes across a mealtime, we will feed them too.
