    Disappointed

Although my first time with the family to the farm but disappointed right from the reception. There was a board with the various types of baskets and price but the staff at the front informed that they only have the 20 CAD basket and they ran out of the rest. The farm was packed. The quality of the strawberry was poor. Most of the rows were out of the strawberries. The remaining was extremely small, sour, and not ready for picking. Since we were forced to go with the basket so had to pick something from the farm. I did inform the staff at the front about our experience and quality of the strawberries and he replied that many people picked the good quality on Canada Day. Fine, then close the farm and transparently inform the customers or alternatively allows them to go and take a look if they would like to pick the poor quality of strawberries but no why would you do that instead the small basket were disappeared intentionally and customers were forced to pay 20 CAD for the visit alone, I would say! It was just a waste of time and money and our bad luck to visit such a poor place for our first strawberry pick.

    I love it!

I found the Big er Apple farm last year by chance and I loved it a lot. It's near my work place and home. The staff is friendly and the strawberries, apples and veggies are always fresh. Because of the Covid 19 the experience is less enjoyable than last year but it wont stop me from coming back for another trip.

    Amazing!!!!

Very friendly staff. Strawberries were tasty. We weren't aware they only take cash 20$/ basket I had 17$ at the time which the owner accepted. And also offered us free water as it was too hot today and I had 2 kids along. Will definitely go again!

    Very Different this year

We have been coming for the past six years but this year was very different. Kind of expected with the Covid 19 Pandemic but the experience was less then steller. I reserved a time on line for 11; this was supposed to limit the people picking and ensure there were dedicated rows honestly this was a joke we showed up and it was packed and they reservation literally meant nothing. The price list is posted at the main container as it is most years with some exceptions new this year there is a max of 2 people per basket with a $3 sharing fee for another. Not a big deal but unexpected. Although they have a price list for 2 Lt 3 Lt 4 Lt 6 Lt and 7 Lt. However they only have 4 Lt baskets for $20 and so if you want a second basket its $40 even if its not filled. Very different from previous years why have a huge list with pricing if you only have 4 Lt available seemed odd. We went with one basket but honestly we had a really hard time filling it we gave up at about 2/3 filled. Strawberry's were very small, many rotten and very picked over. In six years this was the worst I've seen it our luck had to run out sooner or later lol I will come back and give it another chance hopefully issues wont be the same next year

    Waste of time and money

Booked a time slot to go pick up my strawberries as per their process and my time window was 3:30 to 4:00pm. Drove 40 min each way. Got there and they did not have them. Only excuse was that some people dont show up so they gave them away. I have been going there since I was a kid and was so disappointed. Why have a process and time slots at all?? Will never go back. Went to Al Ferris and got some there with staff that were actually competent

    Excellent

My family & I always look forward to picking berries at your farm. It is well organized and the berries are always fabulous. We look forward to go apple picking on the farm in the fall. The only thing I would suggest is to have debit or the option to send electronic funds transfer. I always forget that it is cash only. But perfect family tradition!

    Good times

Good time was had by all picking strawberries. Just wish it said on your website that you only accept cash. Will be back in the fall to get apples.
