Welcome to Narthex WargamingWe are an independent hobby & wargaming business located in the heart of the national forest in Swadlincote.This website is dedicated to offering a booking service for the wargaming tables we provide instore.As of right now we have six 6x4 tables and two 4x4 tables, all ready and available to play your favourite board games, RPG, card games or Wargames on.We offer terrain for the following game systems.Terrain & boards are available for all of the following game systems.Warhammer 40kWarhammer AOSNecromundaWarcryAdeptus TitanicusBlood BowlKill TeamWarhammer UnderworldsDropzone CommanderCarnevaleThe charge for one of our tables is £3.50 per person payable in-store - (We will open a tab for you and you can pay for your table, drinks & food all at the end of the night)Gallery

Gaming session
Great place, lovely staff and plenty of scenery to use. The booking system for the gaming tables works well. Can't wait for the next one!

Awesome Day
Fantastic safe day of gaming, with lots of different games and people playing games. Almost felt normality was returning. Even with the COVID measures in place it all felt safe and the drinks and arcade machine were a bonus!! 10/10 cant wait to return

Long time since playing any war game.
Gents have made a newcomer welcome. Great to see the store survive recent years and hope it can keep going with plenty of gamers.
