Student will send their biology questions to the instructor ahead of class so that common topics can be identified and material prioritized to fit the time.

Trainees will also grapple with the need for managers to view time as a commodity and how they can influence workplace culture by being time aware. Goal Setting: Trainees will spend time evaluating the importance of goal commitment and accountability while discovering professional standards for goal assessment and editing. This section of the program exhaustively covers the need to reframe failure as an organizational learning experience. 

Overview: Leading the pack of employers' desired work skills, Communication is a hardline module that explores the importance of interpersonal dynamics and professional presentation in the workplace. Atop the list of topics discussed is the power of listening. Trainees will emerge from this session with a strong knowledge in how to process, analyze, and act on managerial forms of communication in a professional manner. Categories: Communication Basics, Ways to Communication, Listening, Presentation Category Descriptions: Communication Basics: Using a basic model of communication, trainees will be taught how to analyze communication from the perspective of the one sending the message and consequently act in a courteous manner. Ways to Communicate: This category of the module covers different types of communication platforms and addresses how employees must adapt their reactions to each of these platforms in order to maintain coherence and optimize performance. Listening:  As the most essential form of communication, listening skills are tantamount to the performance of any employee in any work environment. In this category we will discuss the science and art behind listening; including methods to increase our perception and harness our full potential as communicators. Presentation: This section will address how employees should properly perform informative and sales-based presentations. Focusing on content creation, organization, verbal and non-verbal elements of a workplace presentation, this category encourages trainees to pursue a lifelong calling as a professional communicator in their field. 

Overview: This module evaluates the importance of proper group management by considering the purpose (identity) of the group, the role of the employee, proper communication, and the decision-making process.  At the conclusion of this module the employee (student) will be able to assess group dynamics and professionally navigate group management to maximize efficiency. Categories: Group Identity, Role Management & Communication, Decision-MakingCategory Descriptions: Group Identity: This category looks at the four major types of groups formed in a business setting and how to properly manage group dynamics in workplace settings. Role Management & Communication: As members of work groups are assigned (or assume) roles, there are expectations of engagement and norms of communication that must be learned. This category develops the aspiring employee into a well trained adaptation specialist; fully prepared for evolving roles and group purpose. Decision-Making: Employees need to develop skills that allow them to efficiently think critically about variables in the decision making process. This category covers numerous approaches to decision making as an individual in and outside the work group.
