CEU Information (Important)This Sound Healing Facilitator Certification is approved for CEUs by the Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers when participants complete the required instructional hours and applicable practicum components. The 12 hours of instructional training over Saturday and Sunday do count toward CEU credit for licensed social workers in Nevada.
The Friday evening Meet & Greet Sound Healing experience is not instructional and therefore does not count toward CEU hours.
CEUs earned may be applied toward Nevada social work license renewal requirements, which include a biennial total of 30–36 hours depending on license type (LCSW & LISW require 36; LSW/LASW require 30). Board of Social Workers
Participants are responsible for submitting their CEU certificates to the Nevada Board when renewing their license. Flowing Lotus Center, LLCProgram OverviewThis intensive offers foundational training in sound healing with an emphasis on nervous system regulation, embodied awareness, and ethical facilitation.Participants will learn:
Core principles of sound healing informed by mindfulness and neuroscience
How sound impacts the autonomic nervous system, stress response, and emotional regulation
Trauma-informed facilitation practices, including consent, pacing, and safety
Somatic and energetic tracking during sound-based experiences
How to facilitate sound meditations and sound healing sessions for individuals and groups within a wellness framework
What You Will Be Able to Do Upon CompletionUpon completion of the training, participants will be able to:
Confidently play and work with a variety of sound healing instruments
Understand basic musical harmony and how to create a cohesive sound experience
Facilitate sound baths and sound meditation groups
Offer trauma-informed, one-on-one sound healing sessions focused on nervous system support and self-care
