Your Podiatrist provides care intended to maintain or improve the aesthetic appearance of your feet. He treats affections of the epidermis and toenails.  The podiatrist begins by examining the condition of your feet, verifies your posture, then eliminates calluses, cuts the nails, and, if necessary, performs treatments.He treats :Hyperkeratoses, such as calluses or corns, which develop at places of pressure or rubbing of the foot and can become painful or even become infected if they are not properly treated;Plantar warts, crevices, yeast infections, ingrown toenails or a sweating problem ;Hematomas under the nail: he must then evacuate the pocket of blood that has formed under the nail. Namely: these pedicure treatments have nothing to do with the beauty treatment of the nails by the beautician.The pedicure procedure ends with a foot massage and the application of a bandage if necessary.

The Podiatric Assessment is an examination which must determine if the patient who consults, often for pain (back, foot, hip, knee...), can find an answer to his problem in the wearing of orthopedic soles. The podiatric assessment is carried out by a state certified podiatrist who, after a precise and targeted interrogation, must take stock of the possible sufferings mentioned by the patient. After study, he should look for a link between the morphology, the positioning of the foot on the ground, both static and dynamic, and the pathologies identified after questioning the patient.The foot will be the main action lever that your podiatrist will use, it will be the one that will act remotely on any imbalances of the lower limb (pelvis-thigh-leg-foot), and of the spine as a whole (cervical-thoracic- lumbar).
