Telemedicine provides an opportunity for you to ask questions and get user friendly advise regarding your birds. e.g. worming, pest control, biosecurity for protection against avian influenza, behaviour, husbandry, maybe you're thinking of getting birds and not sure where to start...

Home visit to assess 1 bird

Home visit for 1 bird will allow me to perform a clinical exam of your bird, make a diagnosis, advise on additional testing (if required) and prescribe medications.

If additional birds require and examination, please select the add on option to allow time to perform this service. If several birds require examinations, it may be more appropriate to select a flock health check. 

***Please note, I currently do not work in a vet practice, therefore I can only perform basic surgery. Referrals for surgery can be made, when required***

Keeping your birds healthy is essential in preventing problems further down the line. Birds are prey animals and are very good at hiding when they feel unwell.

During the visit, its an opportunity for me to health check a selection of birds, review the environment, e.g. check for red mites and sample for worms. I can advise on  behavioural issues, coop and run set up, including boredom busters, perform a biosecurity check (get ready for Avian influenza lockdown!)

Essentially, its one hour of a poultry vets time, at your house for the benefit of you and your birds!
