A closed window visit consists of a resident being brought down to the Sala Caboto foyer to see and speak with their family members through the doors at the Sala Caboto entrance vestibule areas.

Video conferencing is the technology that allows residents and family members the ability to see each other using an electronic device. Both the family member and the resident (facility) will need a smart device (mobile phone, iPad, tablet, etc.) to see each other and talk in real time.

A telephone call is the ability for a resident and their family member to speak over the telephone. The family member and the resident (facility) will need a telephone to communicate. The resident and family member will no be able to see one another during the call.
