GBHS has limited visitors in our hospital to protect the safety of all during COVID-19. To help patients stay in touch with their families and friends, we are happy to assist patients with a "video chat" or "virtual visit" with their loved ones. This is a free service by a volunteer who will help set up the visit using an iPad provided by GBHS. Virtual visits can be initiated by the patient or family member and are not intended for clinical use.

Join us on a 45-60 minute private guided horseback ride on our wooded trails. We will also walk in the river with gorgeous views of the bluff! There will also be opportunities for photos.-Riders must be ages 8+ -Maximum weight of 215 lbs for the safety of our horses-Maximum number of riders per group is 6. -Riders must wear close-toed shoes and sign a waiver prior to riding. 

Join us on a 90 mins+ private guided horseback ride on our wooded trails. We will walk in the river with a gorgeous view of the bluff, and also cross the river at multiple points. There will be more obstacles on this trail, such as stepping over fallen logs, ducking under branches, going up/down some slopes, walking under a bridge, and walking on a ledge next to the river. You may also be matched with some horses with more spunk, so please be honest about your experience level. - Riders should have prior riding experience and feel confident on horseback. This trail is NOT for beginners. -Riders must be ages 13+ OR have already ridden with us on our beginner trail first.-Maximum weight of 215 lbs for the safety of our horses-Maximum number of riders per group is 4.-Riders must wear close-toed shoes and sign a waiver prior to riding. 

This is a fun and educational experience for young horse lovers ages 3+. The pony ride session is led by a state-certified teacher with years of experience in working with children.Kids will: ~ Learn horse care and safety~ Pet, love on, and groom their horse ~Learn about tack and assist with tacking up their horse~ Be introduced to basic riding skills~Enjoy a teacher-led pony ride. We will walk around in the arena first, and then go on a 15 minute trail walk (the trail is optional and up to both the instructor and parent's discretion)

On February 7th, we are resuming social day absences for residents who have had at least three COVID-19 vaccine doses, while supporting these residents with information about the benefits of limiting contact with others, including avoiding large social gatherings, following masking and physical distancing as much as possible, and only being in close contact with people who have had three COVID-19 vaccine doses.   No overnight visits are permitted at this time. 

On February 21th, we are resuming overnight absences for residents who have had at least three COVID-19 vaccine doses, while supporting these residents with information about the benefits of limiting contact with others, including avoiding large social gatherings, following masking and physical distancing as much as possible, and only being in close contact with people who have had three COVID-19 vaccine doses.   

On February 21th, we are resuming General Visitors who are fully vaccinated. Resident can have up to 2 visitors at the same time.
