sometimes lead to feelings of overwhelm and culture shock.Our workshop "Living Abroad and Resilience: Building Strength in New Environments" is designed to accompany you on your intercultural
journey and provide valuable tips to strengthen your personal resilience and
that of your family. The workshop helps you center yourself and to focus on
your resources. In addition to that it offers valuable insights to better
understand the new cultural environment. With our guidance, you can quickly overcome stress and experience your
intercultural journey with joy.
What will we do in these 3 hours?
Cultural Compass: We
will reflect on the model “cultural
compass” that
highlights where cultural differences may arise and where you have
commonalities.
Building Relationships: We
will discuss how to build trusting and sustainable relationships with
people in Germany and how to handle conflicts.
Addressing Feelings: We
will talk about the various emotions that may arise and provide practical
tips to counteract culture shock.
Networking Opportunities:
The workshop also offers the chance to exchange experiences with people
in similar situations and to make new connections.
