We recommend a 45 minute appointment if you are new to us, or if you are a returning customer with a new problem or injury. This gives our physios plenty of time to take your medical history, discuss your problem, complete a full assessment, diagnosis and create a treatment plan. We often have time to start some hands on treatment during this session as well. You may be asked to remove some items of clothing to enable us to assess your movement and complete effective treatment. Please come wearing clothes you feel comfortable to move in.

If you have had your assessment and are returning so we can check in and continue your treatment, our 30 minute follow up appointment should be what you will need.

Our Cancer Rehabilitation Service is a specialist service run by our physiotherapist, Ridhi. Ridhi has several years experience working with cancer rehabilitation, running specialist exercise groups and 1-1 therapy sessions. She has written educational material for Oncology Departments, and has had her work published in scientific papers. She really knows her stuff!Cancer treatment can cause symptoms such as fatigue, pain, breathlessness and weakness throughout the body. Our service helps to identify those issues and aims to improve them slowly. We can also help with lymphedema (a common side effect from cancer treatment causing swelling and pain), using tailored exercise and lymphatic drainage massage. Our cancer rehabilitation service can help people who have recently been through cancer treatment, or those who are currently going through it. We are here to help make your journey that little bit easier, improve your symptoms and get you back to doing the things you love with confidence.

While training, your pup will have the full attention of their trainer. While between training sessions your bestie will be resting comfortably in their own crate in order to decompress and relax. Depending on the trainer to dog ratio, your pup may go on outings to practice their skills in public and boost their confidence.During the mini session, your pup may also enjoy a solo walk or pack walk if training with a compatible dog, sniff walks, enrichment games or solo free play. This session s focused on brushing up on established skills and reinforcing confidence.

While training, your pup will have the full attention of their trainer. While between training sessions your bestie will be resting comfortably in their own crate in order to decompress and relax. Depending on the trainer to dog ratio, your pup may go on outings to practice their skills in public and boost their confidence.During the master session, your pup may also enjoy a solo walk or pack walk if training with a compatible dog, sniff walks, swimming or water play, enrichment games or solo free play. 

Every prospective client must have an evaluation of each dog they are interested in training. This takes approximately 1 hour and is done on site. Evaluations are not designed to actually accomplish training, but rather to help determine which program is an appropriate starting point for you and your dog.The evaluation is a process of assessing your dog's temperament, behavior, and overall suitability for a particular situation or environment. The evaluation may involve a variety of tests, including observing the dog's body language, reactions to stimuli, and interactions with people and other dogs. The goal of the evaluation is to gain a better understanding of the dog's personality, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as to identify any potential behavioral issues that may need to be addressed.During the evaluation, the dog may be tested for aggression, fear, anxiety, socialization, obedience, and other behaviors. The results of the evaluation will be used to determine if the dog is a suitable candidate for training. It may also provide guidance on how to best meet the dog's needs and address any behavioral issues that may arise.
