Join for a strategic assessment and goal setting conference. We will hear student observations and feedback as well as process checking for home practice and set goals for the next term.

To reteach content to achieve proficiency in specific subjects through differentiated instruction. Work on organization and study skills to develop micro steps within problem areas in order to fully comprehend independent learning. Provide supplementary practice problems and notes to continue working on proficiency. Recommended for students who are falling behind in grade level subjects and concepts

To create individualized learning strategies for teaching new skills or building on a skill. Focuses on how to use critical thinking to apply skills to new settings or circumstances. Struggle with a variety of learning skills; time management and organization, note taking skills, submitting homework. Recommended for students who are at risk of failing, significantly behind in grade level   subjects, and for students with developmental disabilities.

This consists of working through papers that the learner has from their school, or papers the tutor personally bring to the lesson. Learners will be taught how to answer test paper questions, and interpret the different levels of the questions within the past paper.

New learners that aren't sure if they enjoy our lessons can use the hour consultation as an opportunity to test the water. This session will be used to discuss what the learner is struggling with before having a brief session where we work through the problem areas. (Please note this is only applicable for the first lesson of a new learner that has not been taught by the tutor)

Need a bit of extra help? Book an hour with Mrs. Smith to refresh skills or get your questions answered. Cost is $30/hr. Tutoring takes place at Mrs. Smith's house.

This option books the same day, same time weekly for 4 weeks. Cost is $100 for the 4 sessions, payable in full at the first session.
