The Institute for Prevention and Recovery of Narcissistic Abuse. The Institute is built upon experience. People who never suffered this kind of trauma might not value experience, but the victim will soon realize that not so many people including psychologists, specialized coaches, and other professionals in the field can truly relate and even begin to understand what a victim of true narcissist is going or went through. Is it clear that the understanding and the capacity of formulation of the victim is often altered, but in order to be able to reach out efficiently, the medical corp will often focus on the victim and its characteristics and totally miss out on the narcissist. The victim is treated for depression, but the narcissist remains untreated and untouched. This conducts to very unbalanced situations in trials for instance, or towards social services, thus placing children in even more difficult situations. Treating the symptoms and not the cause will isolate the victim even more and feed the cycle as the victim is seen as crazy when in fact the cause remains unaddressed.
