Jewelry is one of the most personal forms of art you can own. Important pieces of jewelry like engagement rings, wedding bands, heirlooms, mourning jewelry, and pieces to commemorate special occasions become a part of our lives. We wear many of these pieces every day. We wear them on our skin, we fidget with them throughout the day, and we wear them often enough that they become a symbol of who we are and what we hold dear.Balefire is a company of metalsmiths and jewelers that is committed to education, collaboration, and creating truly unique pieces that match the lifestyle and aesthetics of your clients while honoring the importance of these pieces wearable of art.
When booking with us, please note that Jamie is usually only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Baleigh is usually available on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Baleigh Acebo
Baleigh creates impeccable jewelry pieces and especially loves the education aspect of custom jewelry work. Additionally, she is experienced in jewelry repair and is the head goldsmith and studio manager at Balefire. Baleigh studied jewelry fabrication and metalsmithing at North Bennett and New Approach in addition to having over a decade of experience at the bench.

KD's love affair with jewelry making was ignited during travels with her family and choosing mementos to remind her of these special moments. Beginning in high school, KD found herself creating beaded jewelry for friends and family but was constantly interested in going deeper into the craft. With an appreciation for good craftsmanship that she inherited from her father and after an intro class into metals she realized this was a path towards a lifetime of meaningful work.
From that moment on, KD immersed herself in training at various metalsmith schools such as the Bouldering Metalsmithing Association and the New Approach School for Jewelers, where she received professional fabrication & stone setting training. She joined Balefire Goods in May of 2022 and flourished as a bench jeweler. KD loves the challenge of custom design where her skills meld to meet client's aesthetics.
