Meet Sarah, the Egg Donor Program Manager and, most recently, the Embryo Donor/Adoption Program Coordinator with Her Helping Habit. As a previous donor, she has strongly advocated for known donations, witnessing first-hand the impact her contributions have made on real families and how life-changing it has been for many, including herself. Outside of her professional role, Sarah lives in beautiful British Columbia, where she frequently enjoys hiking, beachcombing, and wild foraging, usually accompanied by her three dogs.

With extensive experience in financial planning and a passion for helping others, she brings her financial expertise to positively impact the lives of individuals in need of egg donation services. In addition to being dedicated to her work, Hermela enjoys spending time outdoors and travelling in her free time.

Meet Emma, one of the Intended Parent Coordinators at Her Helping Habit. She holds a Master of Science degree in Genetic Counselling, and her journey into the world of egg donation began while working in genetics at an IVF/fertility clinic. During her time there, Emma quickly connected with the people she worked with and discovered a profound passion for supporting clients on their pathways to parenthood. She views egg donation as hugely important in creating equal opportunities for parents to start families. Outside of work, Emma loves all things active and outdoors, especially kayaking, snowboarding, and swimming in the ocean.

Meet Ivy, an intake coordinator and artist based in Windsor, Ontario. She is passionate about family and helping others start their own. She was an egg donor at Her Helping Habit and joined the team. Ivy also manages her own business as a Birth and Postpartum Doula. Her fascination with pregnancy, labour, and postpartum care drives her daily. Ivy is furthering her expertise by studying to become an ultrasound technician. She is excited to help and looks forward to supporting you!

Meet Abigail! She is an Intake Coordinator based in Nova Scotia. With a background working at a crisis hotline and other social service agencies, she has always had a passion for helping others. Abigail’s journey with Her Helping Habit began as an egg donor, completing three cycles before joining the team. Being part of Her Helping Habit allows her to support families from the very beginning of their journey. She can't wait to help you either as a donor or intended parent!
