Pleased by hour with Rie Saito

Rie was very good with my half-remembered bits and pieces of baby Japanese and we share an appreciation of traditional fairy tales and legends. Don't know if I'm ready for commitment of time, but I'd be happy to continue with her if I do decide to learn characters.

Great Teacher!

I had my fourth lesson with Ayako sensei and I am looking forward to many, many more. She is a fantastic, lovely and patient teacher who explains everything for me to understand easily. I am a complete beginner and feel confident that with Ayako sensei's teaching I will be able to learn Japanese very well.

Just what I was looking for!

I was already a keen Japanese learner who was leveraging many learning resources from apps like Busuu & Duolingo to books like Genki (you name it)! The only problem was something was missing - せんせい! Being able to speak and receive live feedback from an experienced 日本語のせんせい and native speaker is invaluable and is something that cannot be replaced. I will definitely continue my learning with りえせんせい (Rie Sensei) and I look forward to the learning ahead! 100% Recommend :)

Great teacher!

Sayaka sensei was very good, provided thoughtfull notes, she was very professional and kind. I was after someone to help me with my japanese before moving to japan for work and she was very good. I would have loved to continue lessons but ended up moving to japan sooner than I thought. I Highly recommend!

Greag lesson!

Praises all around!

I first started by emailing Mai sensai and the reply and kindness was just wonderful. It really made me feel so comfortable and enthusiastic to move onto my next step in Japanese learning, with the help of Mai I went to have a lesson with Yoshi sensai. He is a delight, kind, passionate, understanding if you get confused and helps you if you forget certain words. I look forward to my lessons with him or should I say my continuing lessons so I can eventually master and be able to hold many conversations and topics in Japanese.

Perfect for long distance language learning via Skype!

I just had my first lesson with Ayako-Sensei via Skype. It’s a great way to keep up with language learning as it’s both flexible and effective. Ayako-sensei is a fantastic teacher who is fluent in both Japanese and English and therefore able to explain everything in detail. She also adjusts the lessons to my needs and makes sure I understood everything discussed. I’m really looking forward to keep learning with her!

Great start!

Natsumi sensei is very competent and patient. I'm a beginner student and the first lessons are being great and fun. Really enjoying the first steps!

Over two years of excellent instruction!

My daughter Mariana has been having regular lessons with Mai-sensei for more than two years now. She has progressed tremendously over the course of this time. It's quite fascinating to now hear the two of them have conversations entirely in Japanese. Most importantly, Mariana's motivation has not waned in these two years: all thanks to the engaging and interactive style of instruction. We could hardly wish for a better teacher. Mai-sensei has impeccable work ethics, a great attitude and a truly personalized approach to each student. My daughter is always looking forward to her lessons, and is very inspired afterwards. Thanks so much, Mai-sensei!
