Clifford joined CLPM in 2020 and is an experienced Quantity Surveyor. With over 15 years’ Quantity Surveying experience, across a wide range of organisations he can help you with your construction cost or building contract queries.

Clifford’s career started in the commercial market before he then moved to the residential sector, working for the investment division of a local authority before going on to join an independent firm of Chartered

He's worked worked on residential and mixed use new build developments ranging from £500k to £12m in value, as well as a mixture of commercial, healthcare, residential and retail refurbishment projects. Clifford has worked with a varying client base – from householders to large commercial entities, providing support and advice on matters such as contract compliance, contract awareness, contract change management, claims, variations, as well as other related legal and financial matters.

Here at CLPM Clifford spends much of his time providing expert advice and bespoke estimating services, preparing budgets, tendering and compiling contract documents. He also works together with our project managers to deliver the Contract Administration role. This service helps our clients to manage their responsibilities under the contract with the contractor. The CLPM cost team work with our field-based Project Managers by certifying amounts due for payment in line with work completed on site, assessing variation costs and agreeing the final account.

Jane has been working in the construction industry for over 35 years, in both office and site based roles, and she can help you with your construction cost or building contract queries.

Her experience covers a wide range of areas – including estimating, procurement, surveying, financial analysis, cost reconciliation, administration and training. 

Jane’s has a particular expertise in residential new builds and for much of her career she has been involved with project surveying and procurement for national house builders. Most recently she has worked as a consultant on projects for Twigden Homes (formerly part of the Kier group), Crest Nicholson and Taylor Wimpey.

Prior to setting up her own consultancy company, she also worked as a senior surveyor for Barrett Homes (North London), David Wilson Homes (Home Counties) and Banner Homes Group PLC.

The many developments Jane has been involved with have included private and social housing, as well as new build and refurbishment contracts across the Midlands, Home Counties and South East. Jane has also been contracted by various commercial sub-contractors for surveying, estimating, final accounting and document control on various contracts in and around London. These have included the Morgan Stanley Clinical Building extension at Great Ormond Street Hospital and the new Central Saint Martin’s College of the Arts on the Kings Cross Eastern Goods Yard re-development.

Mario joined CLPM back in 2012, and in that time he has worked on a wide variety of construction projects.

He can help you with your general construction project queries, and is also one of our designated project management Gurus.

Mario has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years, and has worked on a large number of major home refurbishment projects for our clients. These have typically involved adding double storey extensions as well as re-modelling and refurbishing the existing space.

Mario has also helped many of our clients to renovate their historic properties, and is experienced in supporting self-builders build their dream homes with a variety of conventional and more modern construction methods such as timber frame and structural insulated panels.

With a friendly, can-do attitude Mario comes with glowing references, having forged strong relationships with his clients.

Bobby joined CLPM at the beginning of 2020, to help boost the size of our project management team.

He can help you with your general construction queries or act as your designated project management Guru via our Pro service. 

Bobby has worked in the construction industry for over 20 years and is an experienced building project manager. As a fully qualified and experienced electrician, Bobby hails from Boston, Massachusetts and spent the first 12 years or so of his career in the United States, working in the commercial sector managing shop fitting projects as well as organising ongoing property maintenance work.

A move to London then led to him working for a property investment and development company project managing the refurbishment of high end residential and commercial properties in the W1 area. Many of these projects involved Grade 1 or Grade 2 listed buildings and included sympathetic renovation works, re-models and the conversion of commercial buildings into residential homes – all of which were subsequently sold or let to clients.

Bobby then went on to work in the Design & Build and Architectural Design sector as a project manager. Typically, these refurbishment, extension and new build projects were £400K or larger, with the majority in some of London’s most prestigious areas – such as Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Fulham, Hampstead, Maida Vale and Richmond. Many came with a variety of technical challenges to oversee such as the installation of basements, bespoke features and high-tech equipment. One such project included a major £12m pound residential project in Twickenham with a floating marble staircase, a dynamic deck and an in/out swimming pool with a huge amount of structural glazing.

Bobby’s clients have found his friendly, un-flappable approach and diverse experience to be invaluable on their projects.

With almost 40 years in the industry, the breadth and depth of Frank's experience is valued not only by our clients but also by our team. Over his long career he’s worked almost every type of construction project. He’s delivered large housing developments, hotels, supermarkets, commercial offices, business parks, historic home renovations as well as residential building projects.

Frank has been working with CLPM since 2013 and in that time has overseen many house extensions, basement extensions and refurbishments. He has also completed a number of commercial projects including acting as the Contract Administrator for the construction of a series of industrial units and assisting local developers by acting as their Clients agent.

Over the years he has also supported many of our self-build clients who are building their own Grand Design-style homes. These have included an ICF construction, and a substantial zinc roofed Eco-Home, which was heated via an ASHP along with an MVHR installation. Another recent project involved converting an old forge to create a domestic dwelling.

Frank is currently providing project management support to repeat commercial clients who are creating 21 flats in Gerrards Cross, and overseeing the refurbishment of the training and accommodation blocks for Hearing Dogs for the Deaf.

Rob heads up our energy and heating consultancy team and is a trained and experienced plumbing and heating engineer. He supports clients face to face and also virtually via Microsoft Teams videocalls as one of our heating and energy ‘Construction Gurus’.

Rob joined CLPM in 2014 as a building project manager and over the years he has worked on all kinds of projects from residential building projects to commercial premises. However, the number of clients who need heating and energy advice has grown significantly and so Rob now spends all of his time carrying out heating or energy surveys, writing client reports and delivering sustainability advice.

Marcus has been working with CLPM since early 2020 and is one of our independent heating consultants. He supports clients face to face and also virtually as one of our heating and energy ‘Construction Gurus’.

Although he originally honed his project management skills in the IT sector for Vodafone, Marcus has worked in the construction industry for almost 20 years, with most of that time spent on site, organising and overseeing construction projects.

For 17 years Marcus ran his own company, project managing extensions and renovation projects in the residential housing market. Many of his company’s projects involved designing and then overseeing the re-plumbing the heating systems, bathrooms and kitchens of the properties and it was through this route that Marcus gained his interest and knowledge in the heating and plumbing trade. An expertise which was also been put to good use in his role as a Technical Expert at the NSBRC in Swindon.

Here at CLPM Marcus spends his time poring over architectural plans, carrying our site surveys and meeting with or talking over Microsoft Teams videocalls to our clients. Typically Marcus helps advise clients on how to resolve chronic heating issues and how best to add to or upgrade existing heating and hot water arrangements and control systems.
