Dr. Deval Rolle DM, MSc, Dip.

Dr. Deval Smith-Rolle came from very humble beginnings being the first in her family to obtain a medical doctorate degree. It was with a lot of hard work and perseverance that she completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at the University of the West Indies in 2005, andher Doctorate of Medicine in Family Medicine in 2018.As a Family Medicine Specialist, she has had the pleasure of caring for communities throughout the archipelago of The Bahamas and remains inspired to give the best medical care at all times. As a medical doctor for the past sixteen years, she has served as the Medical Director for the Exuma Medical Clinic and Urgent Care and also Registrar Physician at the Public Hospital Authority. In July 2020, she started her ownprivate practice as the Medical Director of the Exuma Family Medicine Clinic.Dr. Rolle is the author of the research paper Knee Osteoarthritis and Its Impact on the Quality of Life in AdultsUtilizing the Government Clinic Services in Exuma which received special mention at University of West Indies School of Clinical Medicine 12th Annual Research Day September 2018. She also co-authored two additional medical research papers namely Knowledge Attitudes and Practices of Prostate Cancers Screening of Men Visiting the Princess Margaret Hospital, Nassau, Bahamas and Depression Screening of Patients in theFamily Medicine Outpatient Clinic at the Princess Margaret Hospital.Dr. Rolle has very strong Christian beliefs which govern every aspect of her life. She believes that every service rendered should be as if serving the Lord. During her spare time, she enjoys travelling, beaching and spending time with her family. She has a soft spot for the underprivileged in her community and has helped organize small programs to help such persons. She would like to make special mention of persons that have been influential in her success, namely her mother Ms. Katherina Smith, her husband of sixteen years, Wayne Rolle, with their beautiful children Wayne II, Devanaire and Dayneah.

Dr. Marlon Moxey

Dr. Marlon Moxey is an experienced Women’s Health and Community Medicine physician. He obtained a Doctor of Medicine from St. Matthew’s University School of Medicine in 2017, a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and French from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2009, and an Associate of Arts in Geography from the University of The Bahamas in 2007. He is pursuing a Master of Public Health jointly at Mercer University, Atlanta, and The University of Nebraska Medical Center, with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health. After completing an internship at the Princess Margaret Hospital, he became a Senior House Officer in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He serves as District Medical Officer at The Ministry of Health & Wellness and is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. He is passionate about the bonds he builds with his patients throughout their lives and enjoys keeping them well.
