Hello, My name is Lizzie. I host Young People and Adults on English Immersion holidays, packed with activities at my home in France. Previously a social worker in the UK, for Young People and Families, I am friendly and passionate about making learning fun and accessible to everyone.
I have been teaching residential students and online students of all ages for many years. I am TEFL/TESOL and Agored certified and I also spent ten years as a qualified horse riding Instructor/Examiner for the BHS at an Agricultural College and freelanc in the UK. Now I am based in France and I teach using your activities and interests as subjects for your English lessons. English conversation lessons are interesting when you're talking about your own hobbies and life or dreams.

Hi, my name is Lisa, and I am a native-born English speaker with a strong, clear and neutral British accent. I spent most of my adult life living just outside London. I am fully TEFL/TESOL Certified and I am an experience online tutor.
I currently live in France and learning a second language has given me a real understanding of the difficulties and triumphs learning can bring, and has instilled in me a passion for teaching English as a second language.
My teaching style is relaxed and fun, I think learning is better if you don't feel it is hard work.
As a language student myself I am patient and understanding.
I like to get to know my students, and chat to them as a friend so they can practice their English as well as going through the more formal exercises. I try and create fun and individual lesson plans.
LESSONS
I like to mix vocabulary, grammar, reading, and listening practice into lessons, and encourage discussion, questions, and lots of practice at the same time. I believe this keeps the lessons varied and fun; you learn without realising it.
CONVERSATION
I am happy to help with conversation practice for more advanced students, as well as helping with problems they are having with pronunciation or reading.
PRONUNCIATION
I am happy to help students who wish to improve their speaking skills, and I am experienced in helping people sound more naturally English through phonetics, rhythm, and sentence and syllable stress practice.
I look forward to helping you achieve your language goals.
