We will discuss the general activities you'd like, but ordinarily I just record daily life at home without any externally planned activities.

In a 45-minute session, we document grandparents OR parents and children together through the magic of video with VOICEOVER, plus family portraits.

First we have fun with a little activity, then we film while the fun continues.

Next, we record the grandparents' or parents voices, reading a piece of their own writing if they prefer, or we will offer a variety of pre-written song lyrics, prayers, poems, etc. they can choose from that they think is fitting.  Readings are recorded with our professional mic.

In addition to the video, we take family portraits.

This service includes:

Documentary travel photography AND video, shot during the same session, is literally what I love most to make, more than anything in this world.  This is my passion, and what I've become known for on my journey that led me to travel, write, speak, and teach other photographers nationwide.

This travel package includes:

--my normal family film and photo shoot session fee, for 2 hours of shooting (valued at $850)

--all digital photos edited (valued at a minimum of $1500 - most 2-hour shoots yield about 70 unique images, and they're priced at $47 each, which would be $3290) 

--a lovingly crafted film about your family, featuring voices, slow motion, beautiful light, and optional voiceover of you reading or speaking.

--3 art prints of your choice, framed or unframed, shipped direct (up to $200 in value, or you can give a $200 gift card to someone)

--and one video book (valued at $75)

In addition to my all-inclusive $3000 fee, I also charge travel fees. 

IF YOU LIVE BETWEEN a 3 and 8 HOUR DRIVE FROM SPARTANBURG, SC: $673

--$130/day for one day meal stipend

--$365/day for one day hotel/parking/tax/fees.

--$178 - $475 round trip for my my flat hourly rate of driving (which includes gas)

--this package is billed at the minimum driving time.  If your destination is over 3 hours away, you will be billed for the balance of drive time.

POTENTIAL SAVINGS:

If you have hotel points and would like to book my room for me to save, I'm open to that, with my prior approval and a few conditions.

After your deposit, your balance may be broken down into monthly payments, the amount of duration of which can be discussed, but the minimum monthly payment is $200, and the maximum duration is 18 months.  There is a 3% savings for paying in full at booking.

I come to you and take your photos right on your porch or in your yard, so there's no worry about being late or last-minute clothing changes for children! $165 for a 30-minute session, pictures turned around in 10 days or less and downloadable from my private digital client gallery. I always offer a style guide with sources and optional consultation for choosing clothing. No dogs allowed during session. No professional headshots for adults. Please read the cancellation & rescheduling policy carefully when booking. Includes a gallery of about 35 images to choose from.
