ONLY FOR BOOKINGS AFTER A REFERRAL HAS BEEN MADE: Taster sessions form part of our assessment of a young person as well giving them a chance to ensure they want to attend sessions and identify which mentoring stream they would like to access without a full term financial commitment - these occur at fixed times each week so should provide an option for everybody to pick one that suits their availability.

Bringing some of our smaller reptiles in their terrariums we can discuss how reptiles bodies have certain requirements and how we create a home that accomodates those needs. Depending on the key stage and intended outcome we can either focus on the scientific detail of the adaptations or discuss the PSHE implications of needing an environment adapted to your needs.

We will bring a selection of fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals (normally a couple of each) and discuss how we idenitfy their group and name their species within that group.

Joining the Saturday Girl's Group on a fortnightly basis.

Small groups with Melissa as the mentor, these groups are primarily equine mentoring.

These groups are all an hour and twenty-five minutes in duration with a five minute buffer at the end of the session for the mentor to prepare themselves for the next session and record any important notes from your young person's session.

1 hour group with the small animals

A group for young people who are working on Unit Award Scheme qualifications. Young people in this group may be working towards a career working with animals or just have a passion for learning about proper care for the animals at Rehoboth.

Thursday mornings 10:30-11:30

Young People attend for 6 weeks and then can change for another young person, fill out the form for each new person, the sessions will naturally recurr for 6 weeks.

Our 'All Animal Experiences' will be for groups of children and young people aged 5-16 years that are comfortable to leave their parents/carers and work well in a group; these are aimed at making and building friendships, and meeting the animals.
Alternatively, you could book the experience for your family (or 2 smaller families combined) if you'd prefer a quieter activity to avoid the crowds. 

The Animal Experience will include:
 
Meeting and getting to know other young people with an ice-breaker game
Meeting and holding or petting our small animals 
Grooming the horses 
Learning about the different types of feeds for the horses, making the feeds, and then feeding the horses  
Finish with a hot chocolate

The cost for the Animal Experiences are:
£35 per person 
*Half price for adults booking a family activity of a 4 member family or more and can arrange more dates subject to availability

The Equine Experience will be for groups of children and young people aged 5-16 years that are comfortable to leave their careers and work well in a group, these are aimed at making and building friendships and learning about horses.
It will run similar to the All Animal Experience but instead of meeting the animals, the group will participate in ridden gymkhana games.

All experience days must be paid for at time of booking, otherwise it may be cancelled by Admin.

To keep the staff and the young people safe we will:

✅ Keep the groups to a maximum of 8 depending on the needs of the young people
✅ Ask participants to bring their own wellies or outdoor shoes, appropriate clothes for outdoor weather and their own water bottle
✅ Only allow participants to attend providing they and their family members have not experienced Covid symptoms and participants have a temperature of 37.7 or below (they will need to have their temperature taken using our biometric facial thermometer upon arrival for their experience), and wash hands regularly.
