Start the simulator in a cold and dark state, or as if the plane is in a turn-around state (taking over from other pilots). Set the plane up using realistic flight data, push back, take off and control the plane up to 10,000 feet. Once the autopilot is engaged, it's time to set the plane up for landing in Wellington. Everything from setting the correct approach to tuning the correct radio frequency is all on you captain! Your co-pilot will help you read the charts. Once ready, we will descend into Wellington International Airport, and it's game on for your final landing in Wellington. Can you handle Wellington's short runway and its crosswinds?

Once ready, we will descend into Christchurch Airport and it's game on.
​At 2,000 feet, it's time to turn off the autopilot and go for the visual approach!
​You will hand fly the landing, and once landed you will taxi to the gate and shut the plane down.

Once the autopilot is engaged, it's time to set the plane up for landing in Queenstown. Your co-pilot will help you read the charts and make sure everything is correct. Once ready, we will descend into Queenstown Airport and it's game on.

​You will hand fly the landing, and once landed you will taxi to the gate and shut the plane down.

Your Allotted time starts from the time slot you buy and can't be paused or used on another day. The last game must be in progress before your time runs out. You are not guaranteed to play every game that we have on during your time slot, but we will do our best to get in you into as many games as we can.

The Beginner League is an introduction to playing Laser Sports competitively. Each week we play a bunch of games, including a warm up game, the main League games which count towards end of season achievements and a social game to finish. Each week the main League game format is slightly different, giving participants new challenges to overcome each week and the opportunity to team up with different players. The results of the main League games impact the final League season standings and build towards an end of season ceremony where participants receive medallions and awards for recognition of their achievements.
The teams are mixed up regularly to ensure that kids get to interact with new people.
