Precision Golf School at Fiddler's Green is the premier Golf Lesson experience in the southern Willamette Valley. Established in 2007 by Director of Instruction Doug DuChateau (GSEM, PGA), Precision Golf School at Fiddler's Green Golf Center has received exceptional reviews, accolades, and been instrumental in the skill-building and accomplishments of a multitude of players of all ages, experience, and aspirations. Doug DuChateau
Doug DuChateau's life in golf spans 5 decades. Doug excelled in junior and high school golf, twice being named to the OSAA All-State team. Doug also became a standout for the University of Oregon being named to the All-PAC 10 team alongside his contemporaries Phil Mickelson, Jim Furyk, Notah Begay III and Casey Martin.
His major amateur victories include the 1991 Western Intercollegiate, the 1991 and 1993 Oregon State Stroke Play Championships and the 1992 Pacific Northwest Player's Championship.
As a professional since 1993 Doug has amassed over 30 tournament wins, highlighted by the 1994 Bakersfield Open and competing in the 1994 U.S. Open at Oakmont.
His desire to teach compelled him to complete PGA Class A education and training and most importantly education and extensive training in The Golfing Machine system, completing both the bachelor degree level and the master's degree level. At present Doug has completed the first of three extensive programs to earn his doctorate. The Golfing Machine system is used by dozens of top 100 instructors including Martin Hall and Chuck Cook.
Since establishing Precision Golf School at Fiddler's Green in 2007, Doug's philosophy and approach has produced exceptional results. Student accomplishments range from simply greater enjoyment and personal bests to winning competitions at a world class level. In recognition of his efforts Doug was awarded 2012 PGA Teacher of the Year by the Oregon Chapter.
