Zoe discovered yoga at just 16 years old, but it wasn’t until 2012, after overcoming meningitis and enduring back pain from 20 lumbar punctures that she truly found yoga as a way to heal and regain strength.Falling in love with hot yoga at 45 degrees was never part of the plan, and neither was teaching, she simply enjoyed being a student on the mat. But life had other ideas. After exploring careers in marketing and the food industry, Zoe took the leap to open her own yoga studio and completed her 200-hour intensive teacher training and continued to become certificated and develop her yoga skills on alignment and adjustments, yin yoga, mandala and is always learning with curiosity and loves to share her knowledge to others so they can find their own truth. She holds integrity, courage, and dedication as her core values, and she's on a journey to find joy, even in the constant busyness of life. You’ll often find her in the studio working away or passionately leading community classes and creating a welcoming space for everyone, especially those stepping onto the mat for the first time. She offers Thai Yoga Massage Therapy, her approach is intuitive, nurturing which blends beautifully with her approach to mindful movement. Her teaching style is warm, encouraging, and inclusive. I aim to create a space where everyone feels welcome and comfortable. At the same time, classes are intentionally challenging, with a focus on alignment, feeling, and intuitive movement. You’ll be guided to move with awareness, not just through shapes, but into a deeper connection with yourself.“Yoga is life changing, sometimes it can be so profound that it makes shockwaves in every way possible, other times it's subtle, working its magic slowly. Eventually life seems more manageable and enjoyable. Yoga can be challenging, but isn't everything new we do a challenge, but it doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, you can do it with your eyes closed.” and in fact as Norman says (one of her mentors), “it is unlikely that longer hamstrings will make us happier human beings.”
